On another topic today, I would like to know what type of exercises give you a hard time in the gym? I know, at the beginning I was struggling a lot with the squats, and that was because I didn’t focus first on the correct form, but instead I overloaded the barbell! That’s how I got my knees injury and had to do physiotherapy. I‘m telling you this because, if you feel pain doing a particular exercise, whether it’s your back or your knees, STOP! Ask someone in the gym who can help you and don’t try to lift heavy until you haven’t perfected your form! I can’t stress enough how important that is! Oh & if you hate HIIT or even working out in general (idky you’re following me) but like this anyway for my 🍑 socks cuz I’m pretty proud 🙄☺️ - 1️⃣ woodchopper jumps to push-up (you can always do those pushups on your knees!) . 2️⃣ squat calf raises into squat jumps 3️⃣ criss-cross burpees (whooo everyone loves burpees cmon people) . ✨ do 3 sets of either 30-45 seconds each or 10-15 reps each, however you’re feelin like counting it that day! Its not heavy, it’s not pretty, and it’s not perfect - BUT today was my first time power cleaning! 💥💥💥 I am definitely a “mental” person, and like to understand the mechanics of a lift before I attempt it - but sometimes that can hinder my progress. I’ve been trying my best to try new things without a fear of failure (as safely as possible).
