Glute focused workout from this morning 💪🏽 - I’ve been super stressed out between work, school, and other stuff going on in my life so I’ve been pretty inactive on instagram this week 😥 sorry babes. Sometimes you just need to take a step back from your phone and all the little shit that’s weighing you down to get back into your groove. None of these things matter because everyone is in the gym focusing on them self, I know that gym anxiety is real, I’ve seen it so much, but just try to remember that you’re doing this for you. You’re doing it to improve, for yourself. It doesn’t matter what anyone else is doing because your only competition is yourself, and you’ve got this. @gymshark @gymsharkwomen @gymsharktrain

Day 6/90 💜💜 . HAPPY SATURDAY FRIENDS‼️ . One question I have gotten a lot recently is how stay so motivated all the time— and the truth is I’m not... . . 1️⃣ Set a realistic goal for yourself that you can obtain in a certain amount of time. Setting unrealistic goals is setting yourself up for failure which will ruin all your self-efficacy 2️⃣ Keep yourself accountable!! Whether that is tracking your physical activity, telling a friend or your parents, or even writing down what you did throughout the day. Realizing how active or inactive you are will help you understand what rate of range you have to obtain to accomplish your fitness goals 3️⃣ STOP MAKING EXCUSES‼️‼️ It’s not about having motivation all the time to do something it’s about discipline. Nobody is going to force you to accomplish things in life, it’s all within yourself. You. You are the only person that can decide to make a change. If your not willing to make a change in your lifestyle you won’t change. I don’t have motivation to do cardio for 30 minutes, but I know that if I do the benefits are so much better in the long run than it is at that moment in time. 4️⃣ Find an activity that you enjoy and look forward to doing. If you don’t enjoy doing something don’t force yourself to do that activity. If you enjoy something you are more likely to want to continue doing that activity. I genuinely LOVE weight training—I love doing compound lifts and lifting heavy and if I didn’t I would do exercise I enjoyed. 5️⃣ BE PATIENT. Your not going to notice change overnight, in 2 days, or even in a week. It takes 21 days for something to become a habit. Stick to it whatever you are doing and you will see progress and change. . DON’T COMPARE YOUR PROGRESS TO SOMEONE ELSES. So I had food poisoning or the stomach flu(ya never really know which) for about 4 days and it wiped me out! I didn’t gain my energy back for about a week but I knew I needed to get back into the gym. The first couple days were rough but I was finally able to do killer legs again! No matter what’s thrown at you, always get back up and power through because it makes you stronger in the end!💪🏻 #gym #workout #gymshark #nike #legday
