On #EarthDay, there’s something that’s weighing heavily on me. _ We’ve been speaking a lot about Dharma recently, and I love that conversation. But I also admit that I get a little provocative on this topic. _ When considering your dharma, I urge you to consider how you will express your dharma, how you pursue its manifestation. And check that it won’t be causing harm while trying to reduce suffering. _ For example, if your vision of your dharma would require travel reliant on jet fuel, or something that can’t be sustained by our ecology, perhaps consider a service you can do with less expense to the world in which you live. (And support the good work being done in regions of the planet beyond your daily reach.) _ ➡️ Our dharma should not be costing our families, our communities, our local nor global ecology ⬅️ _ I think this is often forgotten. _ Do you agree or disagree? I’m open to a conversation about this… 💜 But on #earthday, it felt like an important reminder.

Setbacks will happen, there will be bumps in the road and self doubt. The most rewarding part of the journey of change is pushing past the doubt and defining your own reality. It's in never giving up and facing fear and changing and evolving and becoming your best self. When I noticed this pose a long time ago I somehow had the idea that it would be so easy. When I tried it I found out that a lot of yogis are the best in making things just look easy. 🔥УТТХИТА ХАСТА ПАДАНГУШТХАСАНА🔥 . #alenasyogaAZ . Ранее я уже рассматривала эту асану, но в легком, базовом варианте. Этот вариант усложнен наклоном корпуса к ноге, и чтобы выполнить его, необходимо приложить ну просто адское усилие, т.к. требуется одновременная работа с балансом, силой и гибкостью. . 📌ОТСТРОЙКА: 🔸ЛЕВАЯ СТОПА плотно прижата к полу, пальцы направлены вперёд. Активно отталкиваемся стопой от пола и тянемся вверх. 🔸ЛЕВОЕ КОЛЕНО подтянуто вверх, ровное, или слегка присогнуто, если у вас подвижные суставы и наблюдается переразгиб, как в моем случае. 🔸ЛЕВОЕ БЕДРО напряжено. 🔸ЛЕВАЯ ЯГОДИЦА сжата. 🔸Т/Б находятся на одной линии. 🔸ПРАВАЯ НОГА ровная в колене, включена в работу и поднимается вверх, а не висит грузом на правой руке. Ну или немного согнута, если совсем невмоготу. Если нога совсем никак не хочет подниматься вверх, держите ее параллельно полу и наклоняйте корпус к ней, как вариант. Поймите принцип действия - необходимо сложиться пополам с ногой; вы и ногу должны тянуть к корпусу, и, одновременно, корпус к ноге. 🔸ПРАВАЯ СТОПА активная, пятка тянется вперед. 🔸НИЗ ЖИВОТА сжат и подтянут. 🔸НИЖНИЕ РЁБРА тянутся к правому бедру. 🔸ГРУДНАЯ КЛЕТКА прижимается к правому бедру. 🔸ПОЗВОНОЧНИК слегка округляется. 🔸ПЛЕЧИ расправлены, причем левое плечо направлено вперёд. 🔸КОРПУС все время разворачивается к правой ноге, к ней же и наклоняемся. 🔸ПРАВАЯ КИСТЬ делает захват за большой палец правой стопы. Причем, пожалуйста, не отрывайте свой большой палец! Работайте на сопротивление, тянитесь им вперёд, а рукой тяните его назад. Тогда сможете почувствовать дополнительную работу мышц ног, и вам будет гораздо легче жить. Обратите внимание на захват - указательный и средний пальцы вместе делают кручок за большой палец стопы, а большой палец кисти закрывает этот кручок. 🔸ПРАВЫЙ ЛОКОТЬ направлен вверх. Это же движение поможет вам поднимать ногу вверх. 🔸ЛЕВЫЙ ЛОКОТЬ направлен в сторону или слегка назад. 🔸ЛЕВАЯ КИСТЬ держится за левый бок. 🔸ПОДБОРОДОК тянем к ноге, и прижимаем к ноге, если получилось достать. 🔸ВЗГЛЯД направляем вверх на большой палец правой стопы. . 🚫Когда не практиковать: 🔸боль в рёбрах 🔸травмы поясницы

The unfortunate thing about life is that, even though most of us have eyes to see, we're still navigating the world in the dark. The future, no matter how incessantly we try to conjure it up in our mind, it truly doesn't exist. We spend hours every day worrying about it, calculating what our actions will surmount to. But truly we can never know. We have no control of this life. We have control of our actions, and our choices, but the film of life is an unpredictable screenplay that's not been written. We are just vessels, harbouring the essence of life. Floating through like a river, crashing into the metaphorical rocks, gliding through the emptiness which is life. Life is empty, we take up space, like a vinous plant, wildly growing in every direction. It's okay to take up space, it's okay to be extravagant, just make sure you don't step on anyone.

This means having an open and eager attitude with a lack of preconceptions for something, no matter how advanced you may be. I chose front splits (hanumasana) for today, since this is a pose that tends to come and go for me. I haven't been giving this area of my practice much attention, so everytime I revisit it, I have to let go of the notion that I was "good" at it three months ago, so I should be able to pop right back to where I was then. There is always something new to learn that will help me practice this pose safely and mindfully, including remembering to keep a beginner's mind and attitude towards this asana. .
