RPF Capacity Test ___ We wanted to put together a test that would challenge mechanics under fatigue. The RPF Capacity Test allows us to observe competency/form in the principle movements. ___ The first 200m run will elevate the heart rate enough that learning to breathe and brace through the skill components will become paramount. If there is a weakness in either a push, pull, or hinge the test will show us and give us an indication of what to work on. ___ Sandwiched in the middle is the Turkish get up which will add a mobility and stabilization component to the test. ___ Finally, the final circuit is there to show a bit of muscle endurance and the capacity to push to beat the first circuits time while mounting good mechanics. ___ Only work to your current level of strength/fitness. Push ups can be done on the knees, pull ups with bands, and the Turkish get up can be scaled in half if mobility is the restriction in the lunge ___ Equipment needed: Pull up bar (band if needed) Kettlebell Feel free to shoot a video of you trying this out and send it to us for review. My advice for upcoming fitness pros wanting to follow these steps? Read a book called "tyranny of words" by stuart chase. Eliminate ambiguities in your life as a whole and a world of new possibilities that work will emerge. If you stop with corny manipulative language intended to cement in a false sense of security, you become a part of the societal solution. . . Ambiguities lead a person down a path where calcification becomes center stage. The more ambiguous you are (accepting to bullshit), the more difficult it becomes to establish quantifiable measures that will make you attain progress. . . The only people that have a problem with my mentality are the bullshitters who live ambiguously. They insist I should change, while I get better on all levels. Them?
