🇬🇧 Scrolling down, wasting time of our precious life but most of all : IG is not helping my ego. I've been following few "big accounts" related to yoga in order to inspire me. But most of the time I've been just thinking how far from a "good yogi" I am while watching them. It's in one hand giving a lot of advices and inspirations but on the other hand it can really pull us down. Today, I decided to open a professional account as i want to share my knowledge in yoga classes. IG is one of the way to promote myself and I now accept it. As it is. Imperfect. I will try to do my best to stay real and myself here. To not wait for likes and followers. Because this is not me. Because this is not my yoga. . . 🇫🇷 Passer des heures devant un écran, gâcher notre précieux temps et surtout, je dois l'admettre : IG n'aide pas niveau égo. Pour trouver de l'inspiration, je suis abonnée à quelques "gros comptes" relatifs au yoga. La plupart du temps, ils me rappellent comme je suis loin d'être un "bon yogi" . D'un côté, on y trouve beaucoup de conseils et d'inspirations mais de l'autre ils nous renvoient une image négative de nous même. Aujourd'hui, j'ai décidé d'ouvrir ce compte pro car je souhaite partager ma vision du yoga. IG est un des moyens de communication pour promouvoir mon activités et je l'accepte. Comme il est. Imparfait. Je souhaite rester moi-même sur cette page. Ne pas rechercher les "likes" et "followers". Parce que ça ne me ressemble pas. Parce que ça ne ressemble pas à mon yoga. . . Seated forward bend ~ this pose provides a great stretch for the back of the body, especially the calves and hamstrings (well, that’s where I mostly feel it 😁). Here are three variations ~ the first pic being the more advanced, the second pic intermediate, and the last when you’re warming up/working on the pose/have very tight hamstrings! To get into the posture keep your spine straight and lengthen your torso, once you have lowered your upper body as far as you can while maintaining the length, exhale, let the torso and back go, and sink into the pose ~ trying not to resist the stretch #yoga #forwardbend #seatedforwardbend #paschimottanasana #stretch #hamstrings #calves #back
