Awesome post by @aboloninayoga 🕉 --- Завистливы ли вы? Ну вот только честно? Портится ли настроение, когда кто-то достиг того, чего вы все еще не можете, но очень стремитесь? Радуетесь ли, когда человек, с которым вы почему-то соревнуетесь (может даже не отдавая себе в этом отчета), ну хоть в чем то, потерпел неудачу? Или уже перестали сравнивать себя с другими и учитесь радоваться чужому счастью, а не только помогать в беде. Ведь разделить счастье другого в разы сложнее, искренне, от всего сердца порадоваться за кого-то, если у вас же, в этой же сфере, например, полный крах. Умеете так? Зависть никогда не была моей проблемой, потому что изначально у меня часто не было всего того, что было у других, но зато было что-то априори другое, чего не имели окружающие, и я поняла, что у каждого свой путь и только наличие вещей или возможностей вряд ли может привести меня к счастью. А если вдруг накатит такая мысль, она сразу же уходит, потому что ничего не дается в этой жизни просто так, все стоит свою определенную цену, и чтобы узнать какую цену усилий, труда, благочестия человек заплатил за свои блага (не важно материальные или нет, в этой или прошлых жизнях), нужно пройти его путь в его же обуви. А как у вас? Завидуете? И если да, то чему? I’ve only been able to build the strength and flexibility needed to perform these by staying consistent with a regular practice. Also, having a playful mindset and being curious about what you can teach your body to do is a great starting point. . I saw these on an Instagram post a while ago and kept having a play around trying to get them. If when a teacher tells you to "knit your ribs" or "engage your core" you basically have no idea what that should feel like in your body, then read on. Or if you just need a great way to warm up before inverting, also read on, and for all other core-engagement, inverting needs read on... . . (Basically this drill will make all of your inverting wishes come true...✨🦄🤴🏻That's right, that is a Prince Charming emoji riding on a unicorn emoji...) . . ✨Find a wall. Preferably one with a mirror in front of it so that you can check yourself out, but one without a mirror will do too! If you can also video yourself from the side that will give you some great feedback. It is amazing how many alignment issues can be fixed just by seeing it. . . 🦄Step your feet about a foot away from the wall. Big toes touching, heels slightly apart. Reach your arms overhead. This will make it more challenging, but we want to create an as realistic to a handstand position as possible. When the arms are overhead it often cause compensation in the ribcage, lifting the front ribs up which then causes the belly to hang out and the pelvis to tip forward and the butt to stick out....a.k.a. the dreaded banana back! 😧🍌🙅 . . 🤴🏻Spread your shoulder blades and wrap your triceps towards the tip of your nose. Squeeze and engage your triceps to straighten your arms. You don't have to be able to touch the wall, but do your best to keep your shoulders spread and your arms straight if possible. . . ✨As you inhale notice how your sternum lifts up towards your chin. As you exhale knit your ribs towards one another and draw your bottom front ribs down (the ones that stick out) as you lift your frontal hip bones up. Imagine cinching a corset. Notice it is easy to pop the low belly out (as I did a bit on the first round) try to squeeze your frontal hip bones toward one another and flatten your lower belly. It is like zipping up tight jeans. Press your back body into the wall on your exhales and engage your core. Keep your inner thighs squeezed together. . . 🦄Do 10 rounds. This should feel pretty challenging. Good
