Gonna do a #humblebrag did these #crossmoveschallenge today with slight modification (deadlift at 25kg instead of 30kg and box step instead of box jump, mainly for my back but also because I am legitimately scared of falling 😂). They cap the challenge at 8 minutes and I did it in about 10.so I wasn't exactly amazing but I got through it! Really happy and pleased that @pt_claudia_batista got me to do it. It's proven my own progress to me. ~ Consistency and Dedication ~ . Yesterday while I was at our community pool, I saw an older woman I haven't really seen since last summer. We did the usual "how've you been" B.S., but then she turned and did a double take. . She's like "Wow, have you lost weight?" Uhm yeah, over 75lbs in the last year and a half...😏 She then went on to elaborate that I still have the same shape, just so much thinner and toned! . So many people are afraid that they'll lose weight and lose their curves. Or get skinny and have no shape. Or even worse, lose weight and have a ton of extra skin. (Not to say I don't have extra skin, just that I've filled it with muscles.💪) . You need to focus on both fitness and nutrition. I've done the whole gym thing before, but my eating was shit. And I've done the diet thing, but didn't include exercise. I personally believe that without both, you will not be as successful or have optimal results. Combine that with a supportive community to help hold you accountable and to check in with daily and the only way you'll fail is by giving up. . Today marks 1 year since the early-release of my favorite program, so I had to do a comparison! I'm still the same curvy woman, just a much better version...and I keep getting better every single day. You ready to give it a shot? Hit me up now and I'll get you started!😘

I cannot stress enough the importance of exercise especially at times when you are feeling anxious/stress/depressed. It really works wonders for your mood. Woke up this morning feeling terrible anxiety but dragged myself out of bed for my daily hike and felt one thousand times better. People always ask me how I stay motivated and it really is a cycle: I hike to keep motivated in life. I try to hike 4-7 times a week to keep fit both physically and mentally. If you don’t have a space to go to I recommended walking 30-60 min a day. Do you have a similar experience with motivation/exercise?
