I have a hard time letting myself feel this way because I always think it’s weak or all in my head. But it’s not. Well here we go

A goal should scare you a little & excite you a lot✨ . Well here we go. After 4.5 weeks of taking it physically easy so I could heal from labour, and months off while being pregnant, I’m feeling ready to get back into beginner strength & endurance training 💪🏼🏃🏼‍♀️ Getting back into pre-pregnancy shape is not going to be easy 😅 I gained 15 extra pounds that I’m scared but excited to shred off 🔥 . Although I’m reminded every time I look in the mirror of this weight it doesn’t get me down because I know my goal is reachable & that it will come with patience, love, fun ways to sweat + clean eating 👍🏼 . Was able to get in a 40 min no equipment HIIT workout @ home this morning, made possible only by playing loud music (the fastest way to put Maximus to sleep is to make loud noises) 🤘🏼🎶 . Cheers + props to everyone out there working on or maintaining their health goals 🍺👊🏼 Hope you’re as excited as I am 🙌🏼

I spent yesterday’s miles on the trail fumbling around trying not to blow over. I live in the windiest part of the island and when I run on open trails, I feel it’s wrath. You run twice as hard but get half as far. That’s the biggest curse with loving outdoor running and loathing indoor running, the elements aren’t always kind to you. But still, any chance that my legs get to be outdoors, regardless if I’m eating dirt, I’ll take. #RunYour💗Out
