Which is your favourite bulking meal? By @smurray_32 ➖ As you seem to like the previous bulking meal post, here are another 8 juicy meal examples that are often very calorie dense thus aiding those with poverty appetites and/or large “maintenance” requirements to create a calorie surplus. However for this post I want to discuss ONE specific study. ➖ You will have likely heard me explain before that, when bulking, large surpluses & trying to force feed muscle growth only results in similar gains in muscle however with additional, unnecessary fat gain? Well this study was super interesting by Garthe et al (2013). ➖ In this study, Garthe et al (2013) assigned 39 WELL TRAINED athletes into to either a ‘nutritional counselling group’ (NCG) or ‘ad libitum group’ (AL) while still continuing their habitual training. The NCG group were given a meal plan which provided ~3000kcal which was considered a SMALL positive energy balance while the AL group ate ad libitum resulting in an average intake of 600kcal more than NCG (~3600kcal lol they must have been hungry), Results? ➖ Body fat increased by only 3% in the NCG vs a whopping 15% in AL however, most importantly, I want you to note that there were NO DIFFERENCES between groups for the amount of muscle gained over the 12wk study i.e. both groups gained the same amount of muscle but one stayed lean with the other getting fat. ➖ Practical implications: As a noob you may get away with stuffing your face however it’s evident not only from this study but others also that, EXPERIENCED lifters  will have a reduced capacity to gain muscle (ACSM, 2009b) and thus when it comes to creating a surplus, smaller more conservative ones are highly advised. ➖ Tag a permabulker below!

Hey IG Fam! It’s been a minute 🤗 So I gotta hit y’all with a long post to briefly explain 🙈 lol. ||| To whom is given SO MUCH MORE is required. More meaning time, and the most overlooked aspect of our being .... Energy ☯️ As an emotional creature energy is at the top of my list along with respect & loyalty. So in any situation where those frequencies are disturbed, a realignment is necessary.... much like a vehicle our souls need tuning in order to keep us in order. Honestly y’all, I wasn’t feeling like my usual cheery, motivational self (many can attest to that 😓) I was drained! And a major factor that played was on me not nourishing myself properly. This led to muscular weakness that kept me out of my “therapist office” aka The Gym all of last week. But that week was the most mentally refreshing & spiritual strengthening week I could’ve had! Thank God for my Chanel Squad 🙏🏾!! (Clique & Clients 😅😘) Sometimes it takes being rocked to test how strong you really are & to see how far you’ve really come. We all would like to think of ourselves as super-humans...at least I do 🙋🏾‍♀️, but even the strongest have weaknesses. Just remember that God will never place more on you than He knows you can physically, mentally & spiritually handle. YOU ARE stronger than the wave engulfing you!! Oh, and that wave...is temporary...just like the last wave you thought you couldn’t survive....remember that one? <— ✨ BLESSINGS! ✨ A message from Sunday’s sermon: “You have been here before” <— translation: why panic when God has brought you from WAAAY worse?! 🙌🏾 Realign by looking back and being thankful you are no longer where you use to be. Show gratitude for the blessings you have vs the lack there of ... aka live in the present with focus towards the future ... and everything will fall right into place! ✨ Alignment! ✨

Since a couple days now, i feel that i have more strength in general, but i especially noticed it in my workouts. My runs were a bit better in the last days and i could increase my weights. Maybe it's because i also eat a bit more but i also think is that i've changed my mind a bit. Instead of overthinking and worry before a tough situation, i just take a moment and turn my thoughts to 'i can do this.' It is mostly just in your mind. You never know how strong you are, so never stop believing in you if you really want something✨ ~ So it's friday and was at the gym now👟 Had a very nice workout which started with a good and pretty sweaty 7km run which felt perfect to switch off the head a bit!🏃😍💦 Folowed by a also great leg- and bootyworkout which was a bit tough as usual but i did it!💥🍑🏋 Hope you all started well too in your weekend!

This is because as you are lowering one arm the other arm will want to follow this is where your core comes in to stabilise and in the correct upright position. Exercise explained: Pick up slightly lighter dumbbell than normal as you are concentrating on something other than just a press. Und das Wetter soll wieder mal richtig gut werden. Habt ihr schon was tolles geplant oder genießt ihr einfach mal eure Freizeit ? Bei mir ist es eine Mischung aus beidem. Eine guter und vorallem langjähriger Freund kommt nach Frankfurt und wir gehen die Straßen mit unseren Bikes unsicher machen. Ich hab mich schon die ganze Woche darauf gefreut 😊 Das Zitat von oben ist eins meiner Liebsten, da es einfach zu 100% stimmt und der Wahrheit entspricht. Man muss es sich einfsch mal durch den Kopf gehen lassen, sodass es wirkt. Bei meinem letzen Lauftraining von knapp 20 Km musste ich bei diesem kleinen Podest stehen bleiben und einfach mal ein wenig, Wie die ganz großen #bodybuilder #posen. 😂 Die Leute haben zwar etwas lustig geschaut, aber ich hab's mit Humor genommen.
