• Finally weekend, the weather is good in the Netherlands and we gonna get some extra Vitamine-D this Eastern! For me it is 2 days with family and i am very happy to see everybody again! But here in the Netherlands if you talk Eastern? You talk food!😂👌🏻 And most of the time a lot of food! In my experience and my life we are coming together with family and friends and we are eating, chilling and having a good time!Like Christmas in spring🤣🤣 • • • Okey,but what to do if you are in fat-loss phase? Are you gonna eat nothing? Or are you going to enjoy some cheats and still losing fat? Let me give you some tips that u can use so that you are staying on the right track! • ✅GET YOUR WORKOUT IN! Going for a cheat on a rest-day is probarly not the smartest thing to do. Without the workout you burn simply less calories. The best option is focusing on the compounds lift because they burn more calories then isolation exercises. My advice is just go train that day! Choose for weight-lifting instead of cardio because with cardio your only burn calories WHEN you do the cardio. If you have a good lifting-session your burn calories 24-48 hours after the workout. Also known as the After-burn affect!📕 • ✅INTERMITTENT FASTING Try to spread your meals in a Time-Window from 8 hours. Main reason is that your body starting to use bodyfat as energy-source after 12 hours. Most likely you gonna save some calories to! • ✅DON’T OVEREAT & DRINK WATER Ofcourse you can enjoy the food that like sometimes. But you don’t have to eat for 10 days! Full is full! Drinking one or two glasses water before your cheatmeal is also a easy but effective way. Simply because your appetite will not be that big.💦 • ✅TRACK YOUR MF PROTEIN! The last one is not a tip but you just need to do this always! You not gonna lose muscle after a day not enough protein but protein is ofcourse also needed for recovery. - 🍑SQUAT FOR THE ASS YOU WANT - OR NOT?! 🍑 - The barbell back squat is a fantastic exercise. It uses multiple joints, increases your strength and elicits hypertrophy (muscle growth) 🏋️‍♀️ - - BUT did you know - you do not have to squat to get a great ass! 🤔 - Squats are commonly thought of as THE BEST exercise for your backside. The barbell back squat used to be my ‘go to’ a couple of years ago, even though I hated it - so far as to say I had squat anxiety! I just didn’t know any better. I didn’t know of any superior option for developing my glutes. - The primary muscles activated during a back squat are your quadriceps, the muscles at the front of your thighs. NOT your glutes 😯 - Yes your glutes are utilised, but to less of a degree than your quads. - On top of this we often have weaker glutes than quads which can lead to the quads taking over during exercises and our lower bodies becoming quad dominant. 🙋‍♀️ This was me for a long time and I have had to learn how to activate my glutes and wake up my hamstrings! I’m still working on this and I’ll often adjust exercises to be more glute/hamstring focused for exactly that purpose. - So, what can you do to build your backside?🍑 - The HIPTHRUST - For greater gluteal activation and hypertrophy. A compliment to the squat, @bretcontreras1 found that the hip thrust improves the squat to a greater degree than the squat improves the hipthrust - So not only are you getting greater glute development by doing hipthrusts, you’ll also improve your squat! 👌 - Above all make sure you enjoy the exercises you choose to do, that they feel comfortable and safe to execute and that you can feel the targeted muscles working. You'll know when you've cracked the hipthrust cause your cheeks will be on fire! 🔥 - If you aren't sure if your hipthrusts are quite right or don't know where to begin, send me a DM 📩 and I can help you 😘 - Comment below if you love a hipthrust! 📥

The goal is no more than 10 sets, so choose your weight wisely. When in doubt, go lighter than you think you might need to. 🗣If you’re a beginner athlete or don’t have any equipment around you, just go with air squats, and increase the number of reps if you need to. 🌲Also, if you want to do front squats, but 100 reps is too many, even with an empty bar, drop it to 75 reps or 50! . . 💥Hit it hard, film your workout, tag me, and I’ll repost you getting after this one!💥
