#MobilityMonday -- Do THIS before your next bench or overhead press ✨ . Each Monday, I’ll be sharing a new move that you can and SHOULD implement into your routine to help you become a more mobile, stronger lifter 💪🏼 . The move this week? Handcuffs with Rotation 💪🏼 . This is honestly one of the BEST shoulder mobility movements I’ve ever done. It’s perfect to wake up all of the sleepy muscles in your back before performing any type of pressing motion. . And we all need a little help there because of Social Media Slouch 📱 . Throw a few of these in before your next session and I PROMISE you’ll feel your exercises in places you never have before 🔥 . So how is it done? Like this 👇🏼 . ✳️ Lie flat on a bench with your arms folded behind on the small of your back. Retract your shoulder blades and lift your hands UP so they’re floating above your back. Squeeze as HARD as you can 👏🏼 . ✳️ While hovering your head and chest about an inch from the bench, SLOWLY release your arms out to your sides and sweep them around until they’re above you. Imagine that you’re trying to pull your palms up to the ceiling, switching to the back of your hands as you make your way towards the top. . ✳️ Keep that tension up and bend your elbows to fold your arms behind your head. Pause for a beat. . ✳️ Reverse the motion back to the starting position, being sure to lift your arms, chest, and head UP the entire time 🔥 . ✳️ Repeat for 3-5 SLOW reps. And remember to focus RETRACTING your shoulder blades throughout the entire movement. . Debería ser más fácil encontrarlo pero cuando pasan los finales de la escuela y se acaban las clases me entra una vagancia para levantarme. Y es que igual que a mi mis clientas les pasa que o están de vacaciones con los niños o están de corre y corre llevando a campamentos o cuidos alternos, y cuando vienes a ver hay menos tiempo que cuando hay clases. • ¿Que hacer para no caer en el hay bendito? • 1️⃣Aceptar 🤷🏻‍♀️que no importa lo que hagas el tiempo se va más rápido en esta época. Así que se realista con los días y el tiempo que pedes hacer ejercico para que no te estés estresando por eso. 2️⃣ Yo se que levantarse temprano ⏰en las vacaciones o días libres es difícil. Pero si te sales de la cama un chin más temprano para hacer ejercico y no tener que decir después que no te dio tiempo es mejor levantarse y hacerlo antes que el día se ponga ajetreado. 3️⃣Cuando hagas ejercico asegúrate de hacer workouts que sean cortos y que sean para todo el cuerpo. Cuando trabajas así ahorras tiempo y quemas mas calorias. Cuando pasen las navidades puedes volver a hacer workouts en los que ataques partes especificas del cuerpo. Por este mes y medio hazlo full body. •• ¿Te suena fabu todo eso pero no tienes idea de como hacerlo? Taken before the tan lines took over 🤣 . Today I decided this week may not be as I expected, but I’m going to do my best to make it a great one! Gary gets here tomorrow and we have some fun stuff planned for his week here (and I’ll finally get that much needed hug 😆). Sure things may not have gone as originally planned, but I’m focusing on what I can do rather than focusing on everything I can’t do. I don’t enjoy being in bad moods, I like laughing, I like smiling, I like seeing people. Who wants to be locked in their room in crap form moaning and crying when they’re in Bali? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m not saying it’s easy to turn on the positivity switch, it definitely takes work, but I’m trying my best 😌✌️ . . Ahora tengo una meta de aumentar mis glúteos o booty 🤭que me motiva mucho y ya estoy viendo resultados. Hoy es mi 2da semana haciendo esta rutina. . Les dejé esta rutina de booty en un story permanente para las que la quieran hacer. . También la rutina de piernas es importante ya que de alguna manera también trabaja el área de los glúteos. (Esta en story permanente también)👌 . Hazla 3 veces en semana. Yo hago piernas y glúteos el mismo día 3 veces en semana. . Monday who? Lol it's a regular day as always but today is the last day of deload.. finished off with conventional deadlifts. decided to take a break from sumos. . I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pull this 275lbs because last time I did conventional deadlifts I was stuck at 265lbs I believe 🤔 or 255lbs I dont fucking remember lol that's how long I haven't been doing them.
