My forehead vein and I are equally excited about sweatshirt weather! . Today in my stories, I attempted to talk about being willing to evaluate your workouts and be objective about progress— and I didn’t mean to pick on Orange Theory 🙈🍊....but it is so popular and I understand why! . They are great, intense, cardio-based full body workouts. My recommendation is to be sure your training matches your goals, so if you’re going 4-5 times a week and wondering why you aren’t seeing more definition in your shoulders or glute progress, it’s probably because those muscles are not getting enough specific sets and reps to be broken down and rebuilt using progressive overload 💪🏼 . My advice would be— incorporate those full body workouts 1-3 times a week and use the other days to really hit the weights targeting specific muscle groups. . I think you will find that you get more bang for your buck over time that with the the HIIT/cardio/ based workouts only! #trainsmart . And to be fair, I loved the OTF classes I’ve taken— don’t want to be a bully— movement is always the goal! 💦👍🏼

Day 17 of 21 Days of Discipline. I’m beginning to see a tiny difference in my body. My stomach is toning back up, and my legs are getting a bit more defined. However, I probably won’t see a noticeable difference until March or so. I can see a huge difference in my stamina. I enjoy running again and I’m no longer getting tired after a 5 minute jog. 😂😂😂 -I’ll be back in the gym later on tonight, and I thinking I’m going to start doubling it up. SCHWER HEBEN - TEIL 2 Hallo Sportsfreunde 😋 Heute stand Kreuzheben auf dem Zettel und passend dazu werde ich euch ein paar Tipps geben 😁 TIPP 1: SCHWERPUNKT Versucht euch vor dem lift nach hinten zu lehnen, so dass die Schultern auf Stangen Höhe sind und die schienbeinen parallel zur Stange stehen (natürlich direkt an der Stange dran) TIPP 2: FUSSSTELLUNG Positioniert eure Füße wie bei der Kniebeuge, also Zehen etwas nach außen, so könnt ihr mehr Kraft aus den Beinen schöpfen. TIPP 3: BLICK NACH OBEN Sucht euch einen Punkt oberhalb eures Blickfeldes vor dem Lift aus und konzentriert euch beim lift darauf.
