When you don't do a full turn trying to get a quick photo in, and dat booty looks flat 🤦 Did a super light shoulder workout since my shoulders tend to click and I worry about pushing too hard to the point of damage. Anyone else have this? . Oh and in the sauna now stretching my quads out from 2 days ago - I swear my legs take it so much harder!

You are as happy and successful as you choose to be. I used to think people who said that you can choose your destiny and choose your mindset were crazy. I always said "it's not that simple" but IT IS (most of the time.. depression is an asshole and I'm not taking away from that because I have been there) but in most cases it is true. You are in control of your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and the way you handle situations. Your brain is the most powerful tool you possess. Choose happiness. Choose success. Choose to live a fulfilling life. I highly recommend reading the book "you are a badass" if you are feeling low or if you need some guidance. 💕

I’m finally starting to feel more like myself! I still get nauseous, get headaches, feel exhausted but I feel like my energy is finally coming back and I am SO happy. I am one who hates laying around constantly even if I worked a long day at work. I like going to the gym after work, going on walks, getting stuff done around the house. Through this pregnancy I haven’t been feeling up to doing any of that and it has KILLED me. I hate feeling so worthless and lazy. I know growing a little one takes a lot from me and will be 100% worth it but it’s crazy how much it can effect me mentally. I have lost muscle, lost strength and although it seems like I have lost motivation I am just waiting for my body to get the strength again to be able to go to the gym without feeling sick 10 minutes into the workout. Although I haven’t made it back to the gym I am able to stay awake a little longer and I am not feeling as sick during the day as I had been. It may be baby steps but I think this momma is finally starting to feel better now that I am onto the second trimester. #12weeks #pregnant #pregnancy #fitlife #struggles #preggo #preggoprobs

Ever just not been in the mood to do what you have to do? Too tired? Too busy? Too.....just not into it. - This afternoon I thought up every excuse in the book to not hit the gym for my workout. - I didn't sleep well last night because the kids kept waking up, so I was exhausted. - Work has been crazy preparing for the new semester, so I was going on too many hours to count without a break and still with a long to-do list to complete. - Coach only had 3 easy paced miles planned; how bad could it be to miss? I have plenty more workouts planned for this week and I worked out yesterday; how awful would it be to skip? And then I took a deep breath. Inhale. Exhale. Lace 'em up! I am tired from last night but I'll sleep better tonight if I get in my workout and exercising energizes me. - Work is busy and I haven't gotten a break but exercising helps with focus and productivity and if I'm going to be able to continue, work-life balance is important. - Coach only had 3 easy paced miles planned... ONLY 3 EASY MILES; how sad would it be to miss when it was only 3 miles?! - I have other workouts planned and did a workout yesterday; how awful would it be to lose out on progress and allow excuses to creep in? What would keep me from making more excuses on those other days? WHAT WAS I THINKING?! - I love my workouts. I love feeling more focused and productive. I love seeing progress and finding balance. Sleep will be there. 🔹 I want to take a minute and talk about social media. While social media is a great way to share your life and your journey, it’s important to know that SM is selctive. Speaking for myself, I share my successes on SM. My page is my highlight reel, and I will be the first to admit it. Life is stressful and no matter what you do, stress is inevitable. 🔹 I’ve been joking with my close friends that come fall when school starts I’ll be a “walking ball of anxiety” and that is completely true. I worry about money, I worry about food, I worry about when I’ll be able to work out next or if Odie has had enough play time for any single day. 🔹My life is far from perfect, but I’m happy with what I have and I’m working hard to get to where I want to be. Don’t compare your low points to mine or anybody else’s highlight reel.

Working so many hours away from our children is tough, but I have always had to work fulltime until recently like so many parents do. Moments like these are unforgettable. I feel blessed. Macros for this entire meal are 10f/42c/18p and 320 calories I did a veggie wrap using the Flatout Flatbread lite, hummus, goat cheese, zucchini, squash, red pepper and onion. For sides, i made oven roasted asparagus, And a zucchini and corn mix with seasoning and sprinkled with Parmesan.
