I see many people quitting their fitness routine because they don’t see results as fast as they want to. Let me tell you something, because this might help you!💕 . First of all it takes a lot of food to grow muscle, if you don’t eat enough or too much, you might not see results. Second, it takes a consistent overload on your muscle to grow. Meaning you need to up weights or intensity to challenge your body enough so it assumes you need more muscle. Third, have freaking patience and be consistent. If you don’t do both it’s not gonna work- I’m not going to lie to you and just but be straight to the point. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . • Consistency means: going to the gym or working out in general every other day, not once in two weeks- I go 4 days a week and don’t skip anything. . • Patience means, it’s not going to happen in a day, not in a week. Maybe in 6 weeks you’ll see some difference. In 6 months you see a huge difference. And if you fail, get back up and try again. We’ve all been through these phases but we just started earlier and now I show the result on social media. Nothing different than you! . So, get your shit together and focus! Sometimes it just takes one message to change a mindset... I know you can, now believe in yourself!!🔥😎🤩 Get motivated. So, what do you do when it comes to eating out with friends when you have fitness goals? Do you just go all out, no boundaries? Then feel guilty the next day and beat yourself up about it? Or are you “that” person who just sits there begrudgingly because you’re trying so hard to look like.. *insert famous IG model name here* - I’m gonna be honest, I’ve never struggled with the fear of gaining weight but I’ve struggled with some frustrating digestive issues. I’ve had sooo many situations where I’ve went out for food with friends and then later got home feeling like I was seriously gonna die. - The amount of times people have made fun of me for not drinking with everyone else or eating the cake, wowzas, it happens a lot. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have a fun time or stay away from alcohol and sugar.. but if you have goals, stick to them. Stop making your excuses of why you’re not making progress or feeling better about yourself. If you make yourself a promise, find someone who will keep you accountable, set boundaries, set reminders and make it happen! - I mess up a lot, okay. I am not perfect with my diet or when it comes to achieving all of my goals. But what has helped me a lot mentally, is not beating myself up over a screw up. Recognize that you’ve made a mistake and focus on what you’re going to change moving forward so that you don’t do it again.
