You get to choose the intensity of any yoga pose - No matter how many times I teach this, I still see students pushing themselves far beyond discomfort in poses - But the practice is a gradual progression not a forced perfection - As a student, Iโ€™m still learning this - There are some days when my body is ready to explore deeper and more powerful poses - And other days I feel like Iโ€™ve travelled backward in my practice and my body just does not want to go there - Discomfort is growth, but pain is a choice - Choose the level of intensity that will benefit you and your body the most today - #fiercepose #intensity #chooseyourself

It offers greater freedom and flow for students with a strong foundation of yoga practice. We work toward more challenging backbends and inversions. The elusive chair, the zigzag, the lighting bolt... . Feel the burn in Utkatasana (Fierce pose). Use a chair but donโ€™t actually sit on it! Lowering down in slow motion just to graze the edge of the chair. Awesome work for the hips, legs and core. Particularly challenging I find to contain the lower front ribs while lengthening the spine. Great turbulent work for the deep abdominal muscles. . Why not try a few of these today? Practice with hands in namaskar or to hips if you experience neck tension, high blood pressure or fatigue.

Fun project that I did! First, We had to pick something that we like to do. For me, itโ€™s creating music. Then we had to pick a person that inspired us to do what we love to do. So picked Michael Jackson because he was probably the start of my love for music and dance! Heโ€™s a legend! Then we had to pick a 4 letter word to describe them. Of course I picked โ€œKINGโ€ because everyone knows he was โ€œTHE KING OF POP!โ€ ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ Then we had to pick a creature or animal (just the skeleton) that fit that person. I originally picked a male lion, but the skeleton of the lion was just not as cool as the actual lion. So I picked a male deer! It seemed to fit, especially with its crown or aka antlers! And the last step of this project was to place the 4 letter word like so, and then literally draw out every single detail on the computer using the photoshop program. Such a cool project but holy heck it took foreevvvveer! Saturday morning sun salutes. Setting up a go yoga flow to teach others. That's the easy part, now I have to come up with verbal cues to get students into these positions(breath, body, direction)assuming they have never taken a class before. You must share the meat and potatoes, but leave out all the filler words that you have uses for decades plus ๐Ÿคฏ You want to speak softly as you would assume would be proper etiquette, NOPE, you have to pretty much yell at people and that is kind of uncomfortable/another thing to distract my ๐Ÿ™‰ mind. Ugh!! I feel like I'm drowning in a to-do list of 1000 task and there is no end in sight. Glad that I have yoga to keep me grounded. Your knees should not hurt! If they do, do not squat so low. Yoga should not hurt ok! . This is my first time in Manila. I went to the MALL OF ASIA and looking for the Ice skating and the GIANT FERRIS WHEEL! MOA is the biggest mall in the Philippines.My excited still there! when im inside MOA I immidiately was love to try almost anything there like driving some rides there. Well, By keeping Taken pictures and videos too. Then when I saw ferrisweel in front of me what the !! Too huge??? I lookenโ€™ up taken pictures first before I ride it!Honesty I cant express hows my feelings I really love to ride on it. โœจ๐Ÿ’™Chair Pose๐Ÿ’™โœจ or Fierce pose as this pose is strengthening, try holding for 10 deep breaths! When I started yoga it was all about becoming more flexible. But learned the hard way that good flexibility requires good strength. In my personal yoga practice I focus more on strength even though I prefer focusing on flexibility postures since that comes easy and naturally. But not necessarily good for me. Just because a pose feels โ€œgoodโ€ doesnโ€™t mean itโ€™s good for you. This is where yoga challenges me to dig deeper. Benefits Chair Pose: Tones legs and strengthens ankles.
