So 36 gruelling weeks ✅ looking knackered 😂 and nearly 40kg down from January this year. The dumbbells on the bench represents the total lost to date, 57kg, a timeframe of around 20 months. In order to achieve this loss since January I’ve done 74 gym sessions, 62 spin classes and 3.5million steps, all while being in a calorie deficit. I’m really pleased with the results and will go into a lot more detail in upcoming posts. I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone big time to achieve this and have sacrificed a lot to get to this position but ultimately I had to do it... New goals will now be set after a week off (don’t worry about the spin class earlier 😂🙈) and then I’m back to it. However, I will use this time to reflect and go into more detail about the things I’ve been through since January and further back. I will talk about the mental health issues I’ve had, the running of a business, nearly losing everything and how through sheer grit and determination we are bouncing back. The story is going to be a tough one to tell from a personal point of view but in different circumstances I may not have been here to tell it. I owe it to myself and others to show that it can be done.
