We had a great weekend filled with a visit from the @stamfordfiredepartment Engine 1 to my parents condo complex. the man we all love ♡ this past year zack spent more months away from the kids & i than we spent together. i’m not going to lie, it was pretty brutal at times. but looking back, it was all worth it. all the tears and hardship led to the biggest blessings. we learned so much about each other and grew individually, along with as a couple/family. if you told me a year ago that zack would have a job that he is thriving at, and that we got to see him every single day, i would have laughed. if you’re going through something hard, i promise there is always light at the end of the tunnel. the hardest things in life can lead to the biggest blessings!
