Weight Loss vs. Weight Gain with Deconstructed Cheeseburger Bowls from The Meal Prep Manual- 60 Minute Meals. I made a batch of these on Sunday with 2 other meals and it only took me 92 minutes to finish up 15 meals 🤠🤠 . . Included in the book are tips for how to make the recipes more weight loss and weight gain friendly. I get asked so often if the books are good for people trying to lose weight or trying to gain weight and the answer is yes to both but it may be necessary to adjust the serving sizes to fit your needs. I can’t say it enough times, WEIGHT LOSS AND WEIGHT GAIN ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. What one person needs to gain/lose weight can be worlds away for what it takes another individual. It is 100% not possible to create recipes that work for everyone’s goals. You can certainly use the recipes as written and fill in other calories throughout your day as needed!! . . On the weight loss side there is less meat and half of the amount of potatoes. The left side uses ground turkey instead of beef for a leaner option thus reducing calories. There is also a greater amount of shaved Brussels sprouts to add volume without stacking up the calories. I find that mixing the meat and the Brussels sprouts together helps make them suck less 😇 . . The weight gain side has double the potatoes and more beef than the weight loss side. Depending on what diet protocol you follow, you can adjust the meal as needed. Obviously if you are a keto dieter then adding more potatoes is the opposite thing to do if you were trying to gain weight. Increase the amount of beef in this case and cook the Brussels sprouts in more oil. I like to serve this dish with a vinegar based BBQ sauce for some moisture and extra flavor. If you only do one thing, you'll never be able to say you've deeply lived. And so: . 🔸Work out hard and work out often. 🔹Take entire lazy days to recharge. . 🔸Eat clean foods and drink water. 🔹Balance that with occasional donuts. . 🔸Be comfortable with no makeup and sweat pants. 🔹Know how to dress up for date night. . 🔸Frequent dive bars and drink a 40oz in a park. 🔹Order a martini extra dirty and get that steak medium rare. In my life, I've found the only way to truly understand it all is to never say "No, that's not really my scene." Allow the world to be your scene. You'll be able to appreciate it more.
