My reason why i decided to work on my physical health was because at first I wanted to just be comfortable with my body and not hate it as much as I once did. With that I found another reason and that's my godson(he's extremely energetic),I want to be able to keep up with him and be the best version of myself for him and for one day when I end up having kids of my own. Light up that Core!!🔥 A little tweak on the roll out with the slider discs. A lot going on here. . . . My focus initially is the tension I’m holding throughout my anterior chain. I start with adequate downward pressure into the discs and, if this makes sense, that is coming from pulling my collar bones toward my pelvis and vice versa. This requires engagement from the entire front of my body with support from my lats and also squeezing my glutes. Then, while holding that connection, I begin my descent. As the arms extend, more and more chest action comes in and the lats and triceps are screaming. Widening out the arms completes the chest recruitment and now the biceps really start working. All heads of the deltoids, by the way are being well taxed. The solidarity of my anterior connection is tested here, contraction of the chest and abdominal wall pushing into the floor and crunching it all in to come back to start position. . . . Hot and sweaty after my lift but had to get in a few core exercises! 💪🏼 Try these after your session, 2 sets of 6-8 reps each. . ❤️ Plank with Shoulder Taps: Brace your core as you tap your shoulders. Try to keep your hips from swaying. Love this exercise! . ❤️ Birddog Elbow to Knee: Keep your palm in neutral and crunch it into your contralateral knee. This is a great exercise for your back, your erector spinae muscles. Bringing your elbow to your knee works your ab muscles as well. . ❤️ Side Plank with Rotation: Turn in your body as you bring your arm down. Squeeze your abs to keep your body straight. This exercise targets the obliques and really challenges your stability as well. . ❤️ Plank Up and Down: I incorporate this exercise into my routine often. I like that it works my core and arm muscles simultaneously. First try these on a stable surface before advancing with the bosu ball. Enjoy!

⁣ 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟕 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: ⁣ ⁣ 🖤This one is for some killer abs. ⁣ ⁣ 💙There’s a ton of different variations of the hanging crunch, that can be done anywhere, as you can see. A playground, the gym, anything that’s stable and will hold your body weight. ⁣ ⁣ 💛You can do these with knees bent, with a twist to either side, or if you’re really experienced, with straight legs lifted all the way up towards your hands. ⁣ ⁣ 🧡The trick is to try and keep your body still, instead of swinging.⁣ ⁣ 💜Aim for 3 sets of 10-12 reps.
