Some humans have a capacity for awareness that most of us earthlings only glimpse at. As a long time teacher of movement all my dreams come true with a student like this. There is no need to tether my information and every moment of an exercise is a query of discovery. I am pushed in different ways and unabashed in my nerdiness. You can imagine my joy then when this amazing person decided to leap into the teacher training and spend a year and a half studying Pilates with me. Tomorrow the trainees get to show their stuff with a performance of their personal practice and a written test of their knowledge. I know @peregrineforces needs no applause for his incredible dedication to this journey but I’d like you to share them anyways as a reminder that we see the hard work and we celebrate taking time to follow our dreams. MANTENHA A CONSISTÊNCIA . . É comum no mundo do Pilates vejo pessoas querendo ficar boas em tempo recorde, treinando incansavelmente 3 horas seguidas naquele dia que tem tempo, a questão é que e no outro dia quase sempre não faz nada e o próximo treino será em 4, 7, 15, 30 dias depois, isso quando a pessoa é persistente. A questão que levanto é que não é o volume cavalar súbito que o levará ao próximo nível. Assim faço a analogia com ANTIBIÓTICOS que em sua maioria tem a posologia para serem consumidos em 7 dias com intervalos fixos e iguais... agora, tente tomar um vidrinho de antibiótico todo num dia para ver se o efeito será o mesmo! É óbvio que não, assim acontece nas atividades físicas, Pilates, Ginástica em aparelhos de Pilates, CrossFit, Funcional, e etc. Mantenha a frequência nos treinos de Pilates, mesmo que seja pouco tempo 15, 20min por dia, assim ganhará o gosto pela atividade e colherá resultados mais sólidos! 👊👊👊 . Não há receita de bolo, há iniciativa de se levantar, sair de onde está e caminhar para sua meta com passos firmes! 👊👊👊 . Yearssss go by.... . And we meet in 2016 at Powerhouse Pilates because she wants supplementary training that will compliment her dancing, improve it, and get herself in better physical shape. .
