I’m definitely noticing differences in my chest, mainly because I can feel my sports bras getting a little bit looser. * Now, I’m not trying to get rid of having boobs. First off, that’s just not in the cards for me, considering my genetics. Secondly, toning your chest is the gateway to having stronger shoulders as well!! Please, please doooon’t skip this workout! Perkiness and balance are the main reason I love training chest. Who wouldn’t want that?! * When it comes to benching, I’m very new, so please be patient with me. I know I have the strength to put up more weight, but getting form down first is my main priority. Without proper form, if you’re lifting heavy, you can SERIOUSLY strain/hurt yourself, which no one wants! * Didn’t post it, but I ended with a 1-rep max of 90lbs. This is what 15g of creatine and 3 scoops of @armsracenutrition Harness straight to the dome will do to you. As @swankbaank used to say “sick chest pump” oh the good days. - - Yesterday’s chest day was a good one considering my strength has gone up significantly. I get asked a lot how to get a stronger chest and besides the fact of actively working on that body part building a thick upper chest and focusing on incline movements really helps bring out overall strength and gives that full developed look. - - First I like to keep dumbbell extension relatively early in the workout to really allow the tricep to fire without fatigue and bring out the full thickness. - Incline dumbbell press is one of my favorite I really feel the stretch and contraction. In typical like to go heavier on this movement and controlled with no less than 5 reps. - - Cable tricep overhead extensions really help me with the length of the triceps and allow me to keep that mind muscle connection through the tension. - - Lastly, standing incline dumbbell flys for the upper chest, a really overlooked exercise that if done properly can really help develop that shelf look on your upper chest!
