Just a year ago I decided to join the gym.. I hated the way my body would look in every outfit I would put on.. It was around summer time 2018 that I had to buy swimming wear for the beach and I was literally crying in the fitting room because I was unhappy with my body.. nothing was fitting me.. and that’s when I promised myself to lose weight.. that I wasn’t going allow myself to gain any more pounds.. to be healthy enough for myself and for my kids.. this journey has not been easy at all.. at times I failed to eat right.. depression also took a part of my eating habits.. been through so much all these months.. ups and downs.. but I kept telling myself.. I can’t give up.. this new life style has been a big change for me.. never want to go back to how I was a year ago.. I’ve come so far and will continue to do my best everyday.. my kids are my motivation.. 😌🙌🏼 and special thank you to those of you that have been pushing me everyday and motivating me to get up and move forward.. Hace un año decidí inscribirme en el gimnasio.. odiaba como mi cuerpo lucia en cada cambio de ropa que me ponía.. fue alrededor de verano 2018 que tenía que comprarme un traje de baño para la playa.. empecé a llorar en el probador de ropa porque no estaba contenta con mi cuerpo.. nada me quedaba.. y fue allí cuando me prometí a mi misma que bajaría de peso.. que no dejaría que subiera más libras.. que mejor estuviera saludable para mi y para mis hijos.. este camino no a sido nada fácil.. an habido veces que fallaba al comer bien.. la depresión también interfirió en mis hábitos de comer.. eh pasado por mucho en todos estos meses.. altas y bajas.. pero aún haci me decía a mi misma que no me diera por vencida.. esta nueva forma de vida a sido un gran cambio en mi vida.. nunca quisiera volver a como estaba hace un año.. eh llegado tan lejos y seguiré dando lo mejor de mi todos los días.. mis hijos son mi motivación 😌🙌🏼.. mil gracias a esas personas que me an motivado y empujado cada día para seguir adelante.. los quiero mucho! 😘

3 years difference from left to right. On the left I am terrified of calories (specifically carbs) I am eating between 900-1100 a day and drinking most weekends. My muscle mass is minor and I am in fact very unhappy with my body image. Fast forward to the right. 15kg weight GAIN. 2170 calories a day (nearly double) more muscle mass and wayyyyy better strength and as confident as you like in my own skin. I eat cake, doughnuts, pizza, cheese, sweets and I have a BALANCED and varied diet. And guess what?! I’m fucking stronger and healthier and happier. I eat clean and a lot of protein don’t get me wrong but I feel zero guilt in eating something I want.
