Although it may not be perfectly clear, this is me getting early morning light into and onto my body. . One of my main motivations for leaving the wonderful United Kingdom is because I miss, need and want the sun and blue skies, everyday. Because seeing and feeling the warm sun and blue skies everyday makes me feel dam fine, and all the science supports that too. . Light is super important for us and affects us MASSIVELY!! . One of my current daily habits is to wake up as early as is reasonable to implement some soul practises, one of which is to sunbath and sun gaze in the early morning sun. One of the reasons for bathing in early morning light is to communicate clearly to our brains and bodies that it is day time, it is time to wake up and be active and ready for the days tasks. This light enters our bodies through our eyes and our skin and resets our circadian rhythm in our brains and switches our sleep/night time hormones off and switches our day time hormones on. This kicks into gear a host of processes and activities through out the body which will hopefully help us function at our best during the long daylight hours. . And goddam do we all look so good with a little tan. . ☀️

My name is Logan Thibodeau. At the age of 9, I went from being a normal healthy boy to experiencing pain and stiffness I wouldn't have thought imaginable. From track and field meets to a wheelchair within a week. All to my parent's dismay and heartbreak, for a long time I went mistreated and misdiagnosed. Doctor's eventually found I was positive for the gene HLA-B27. This meant I was most likely experiencing symptoms of a disease called Ankylosing spondylitis. ⁣ For the last 22 years, I have had my ups and downs with the disease. Treatments have included steroids, chemotherapy, and biologic medications. While they have their place in medicine none of them get to the root of the problem which is an overactive immune system. They also pose serious side effects. I am now searching for alternative treatments. ⁣ ⁣ Chronic pain has felt like a curse but I feel I have no choice but to see the positive in it. That's the only way we as sufferers can handle the physical and mental agony. I have educated myself about health and fitness in ways I feel I might not have if healthy. I'm more compassionate and empathetic because of my troubles and am urged to help others. ⁣ ⁣ Anybody reading with health problems big or small I implore you to take your health into your own hands. Educate yourself and do not follow the norm in ignorance. Research, question the research and always look at references and studies.
