Perfekte Ausbeute für Bayern. Ein Mann - eine Medaille Heute beschlossen die Senioren ihre Equipped-Wettkämpfe bei diesen Weltmeisterschaften in Tokio. Mit am Start war auch ein Bayer. Günther "Kracher" Salbeck ging erstmals mit leichten 124 kg in der offenen Gewichtsklasse der AK I an den Start. Mit einem soliden Einstieg von 237,5 kg setzte er sich erst einmal auf den zweiten Platz seiner Klasse, da zwei Favoriten ihre Versuch nicht in die Wertung brachten. Der Zweitversuch von 247,5 kg ging in die Ständer. Nachdem von hinten keine Gefahr mehr lauerte, wurde im letzten Vesuch auf 255 kg gesteigert. Diesen brachte er auch zur Hochstrecke. Leider wurde der Versuch wegen Abwärtsbewegung der Hantel ungültig gewertet. Nachdem die Favoriten aus dem Wettkampf schieden, durfte er verdient die Silbermedaille in Empfang nehmen. 163 lbs/74 kg for my top set double @ RPE 8 yesterday. 💁‍♀️ - I was actually shocked by how easy the first rep was and considered racking it to double check the weight. 😅 - I’m always suspicious when PRs move that easily. Warmed up with a 220 lbs stone to shoulder and some beer, hit 600lbs on squat raw raw with the stiffest bar in the entire world, what a grinder, 615lbs on dead’s another grinder I was beyond exhausted at this point, then paused 470lbs on bench with ease, went for 500lbs after paused and almost got it but I’ll get that done soon enough. Another vid from a week ago. This is from my overload bench session. I did 2x3 with 100kg/220lbs @ 8.5; with all of these overload session I estimate my Max going into competition. For example, as far as I can see, 100kg would be pretty easy, might even be a second attempt. In this band set up I managed to make the band lose all tension around the top, the outcome is that I'm more confident in my lockout power. ❓ How much can I add in a bench shirt?? - This is a question that I am asked quite often and like anything it depends on a lot of factors. On a very low end, 80 lbs, and on a very advanced scale, as much as 400+ lbs potentially! - Personally I get about 300-350 lbs out of my bench shirt - There is a lot that factors into that and I wanted to touch on the big ones - 1. Anatomy is probably the biggest component. Those with shorter arms, big chests for example are going to gain a lot. As soon as you get that pop off your chest you're already so close to the lockout. A good tight shirt is going to do its job rather easily. While someone with long arms is going to have a much larger distance to travel - 2. Shirt Tightness. A tighter shirt can help you more, I think that's a no brainers. However, what comes along with that is a higher technical skill level. It becomes harder to touch, more weight is going to go on the bar, and you need to be precise with your movements because there is much less room for error. Your success rate at a meet might be a lot lower too. Most might not even reach a level where they feel comfortable breaking in a really tight bench shirt and being able to work it to their advantage. - 3. Technical precision. The better your technique, the better your shirted groove, the better you can work the shirt to your advantage. Become more skilled, add more weight - 4. Adding more strength and a strong nervous system. This one is pretty simple and contributes the least in my opinion. I've seen super strong people struggle in bench shirts because they lack everything else needed and they just dont have the nervous system development to even begin to handle those loads successfully - Shirted work is not a game of pure strength in my opinion. Perdida de tiempo, peor aún si es con peso ligero ❌ Sentados... Pussys ❌ Repeticiones sin control ❌ Hacer así 4 o 5 ejercicios más de bíceps por 2 horas. . Mejor hacer esto: ✔️ Incluir el trabajo de brazo dentro de un día donde trabajes músculos más grandes (pecho/espalda/Upper body) ✔️ Trabajo isométrico. Las pull ups con agarre supino son excelentes para calentar el brazo, abdomen y espalda ✔️ Si utilizas mancuernas hazlo de pie y con un peso que te cueste trabajo para máximo 12 reps ✔️ Sin alternar mancuernas, así mantienes mejor tiempo bajo tensión.
