It’s #FlexFriday, but I’m sitting in a Doctor’s office 🙄👇🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Today didn’t go as planned. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Actually, if I’m being really honest & transparent, the past month+ of my life hasn’t gone as “planned.” ⁣😬⁣ ⁣⁣ Tonight, I pulled & strained my neck & shoulders & was in hella pain. 🙄 I’m so stubborn that I almost didn’t go seek help right away. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Then, I realized that I created this. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ (SAY WHAT?! 🤔) ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Yes, we are that powerful. 💣 ⁣⁣ We create things, they don’t just happen.👏🏻 ⁣⁣ BC The universe/God picks up on the vibes we give & put out there. ⚡️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🔑 I have been in a funk for awhile + been in stress & pain for the past week and IGNORED IT. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Not only did I ignore it, but I let the wheels in my head spin so hard over trying to MAKE sense of this transitional period I’m in with my life - that instead of doing what I feel aligns with me right now & take action on what I know I need to do - I’ve just let anxiety, worry & fear paralyze me and sink me into a funk. 🤯⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But I chose that. (Double 🤯🤯) Bc whatever we don’t change, we are choosing. 👏🏻 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☝🏻read that again. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Before letting my FUNK take over me today, I had this whole post planned around that topic (choosing or staying stuck) & I haven’t even been taking my own advice. 🤭⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So instead of being a hypocrite, I’m going to take my own advice. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I’ve been playing it safe & small & scared for too long. And I’m done with that 💩. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s time to do what ALIGNS with my heart & soul. 💕💫⁣ ⁣ ⁣ It’s time to shine & sparkle! ✨⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ There’s only 25 days left in this decade/year 📅 & there’s only 19 days left until Christmas 🎄 (the most MAGICAL 🦄 time of the year, IMO). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ So 2020 & y’all better be ready! Or when you wake up worried about something going on that evening, before you’ve even had your coffee? Oh and also you get out the door late for work which only stresses you more...⁣ ⁣ And so the day carries on. ⁣ ⁣ Traffic annoys you, silence annoys you, talking, laughing, it ALL annoys you. Have you been there?⁣ ⁣ It wasn’t until about lunch time that it really started to lighten up, the metaphorical cloud that seemed to be raining on my parade, wherever I went. ⁣ ⁣ Slowly, I began to replace my negative thought with a positive one. And as my day went on, it got 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳. When we stop fixating on what’s wrong — it gives us the head space to clearly recognize all the things going RIGHT. ⁣ ⁣ These were just a few takeaways I gathered yesterday & I hope you’ll use them too:⁣ ⁣ ✨ The things we let come out of our mouth, will affect what goes through our head.⁣ ⁣ ✨ If we don’t release our negative energy, through prayer or positive affirmations, whatever your ish is, it will STAY WITH US. ⁣ ⁣ ✨ Take a moment and just name THREE things you’re grateful for. Just three things that you always wanted that you now HAVE. ⁣ ⁣ ✨ Last but not least, it’s OK to feel things. The negative, ugly, hard feelings. But we do not have to live in them. Feel your feelings, let them go, reset your headspace. ⁣ ⁣ Our minds are the one place that only we get to experience. When was the last time you talked yourself OUT OF achieving a goal because you were afraid you’d fail?!⁣ ⁣ For me? Approximately 2 weeks ago. ⁣ ⁣ See I wanted to hit a new goal in my business last month. And I began September excited and ready to go! But as the month continued my motivation dwindled. ⁣ ⁣ As October came into view, I felt pressure from myself to hit that goal. But a part of me BELIEVED it wasn’t going to happen. And it didn’t. ⁣ ⁣ But WHAT IF I had allowed myself to believe I would over-achieve the goal I had set? That I would hit a higher benchmark than the one I set for myself?⁣ ⁣ There’s already enough people who don’t think we are capable. This month – DON’T make the next person who doesn’t believe in you – YOU.
