Whilst many people love the colour and temperature changes of autumn many others suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), the symptoms of which are pretty much the same as depression the only difference being they occur repetitively at a particular time of year. - Exercise has been proven to really help reduce the symptoms of all forms of depression and anxiety. - Our workouts take just 20 minutes, you don’t have to be in a group environment if that’s your preference but you will at least socialise with one person.... me 😁. Gym time! 💪🏼🏋🏻‍♀️❤️ Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I’m a huge advocate of doing some form of physical activity for at least 15-30 minutes per day. This may include running, dancing, lifting weights, yoga, hiking, team sports, and so much more. It is challenging to do this during residency but I make sure to carve out the time in my schedule. I find working out to be a great form of stress relief that keeps me feeling motivated and energized.
