I can’t believe it is already our final day for our #RenewYogis challenge 😭! Our final pose is #toestand ! This pose is great for runners and people who tend to trip a lot. It engages all the proprioceptive muscles in your legs and core, opens your ankles and engages your concentration completely🧘🏻‍♀, and boy can it be a challenge 🙉 . Earthing or grounding is something we do intuitively as kids but as we get older physical contact with the earth stops. We wear shoes prohibiting us from from receiving the benefits of physically touching the earth. Being in contact with it, reduces inflammation, reduces chronic pain, increases energy, decreases stress levels and muscle tension, improves your circadian rhythm, and increases your bodies ability to heal. While all that is important, what really matters is how it makes you feel. It makes you feel grateful, content, focused, clear, and attentive to what needs to happen. I think almost everyone has felt stressed and then walking outside and feeling that stress lifted.. so now imagine your life if you made it a priority to spend 10 minutes of physical contact with the earth!! #staygrounded ❤️

To say I’m proud of my body and what it can do is an understatement. ⁣ ⁣ The yoga journey isn’t an easy one, but it’s the most rewarding and humbling journey I’ve ever been on or have experienced- and not because of the Physical practice, but because of the mental practice and how much I’ve grown. I’m a better person because of Yoga and what it teaches you- patience, gratitude, staying humble, controlling your breath, clearing and freeing your mind, self love and so much more. ⁣ ⁣ I know many of us want to see quick results, especially at the beginning.. but the truth is..most of the time you won’t. Sometimes it takes years to see a difference in your physical practice, and I’ve learned & experienced that. I’ve learned to respect that flexibility and strength take time and to just enjoy where I’m at and not worry to much about where I want to be. ⁣❤️

Long time no see 👋🏼 The struggle is real when it comes to filming yoga and taking photos atm. Outside temperatures are pretty low and my partner’s unit is pretty small. I mean, I’ll get there but please be patient haha. ❤️ As you can see I’m in the middle of snow. Yes, I moved back to my home country Finland. Life has been hectic in a good way, but also little bit in a scary way. Stepped out of that comfy zone and you know all how it goes. I went to Amsterdam for couple of days and now I am trying to settle in at Helsinki. Manifesting a new beautiful home - peaceful and inspiring space as well as something to do job wise ! Now I just want to stay positive and trust the universe. ✨

The reason why on days like last night after a busy day at @newheightsnutrition and then an INCREDIBLE launch party for our upcoming Warrior Within challenge with a whole bunch of women ✨ after hearing stories shared, getting people enrolled in our challenge & connecting with each other, why I had the energy to go to sleep at 3 AM excited to wake up and do it all again, to be with my people and to be back at it all day long today! & tomorrow! and and and! . . One of the reasons why I went from being petrified of speaking in front of 2 people to being passionate about speaking life in to hundreds and one day thousands from the front of a room. . . [YOGA] J'ai activé le mode dérouillage au réveil. Mal au dos, mal partout, fatiguée ! J'ai beaucoup de respect pour cette pratique. Les effets qu'elle m'apporte tant au niveau physique que psychique sont exceptionnel pour moi. Je ne suis pas parfaite, mes sautes d'humeur notamment avec la grossesse sont difficile parfois. Mais le Yoga m'aide beaucoup.

In attempts to decide what we want to do next, the other day my bf said we should each write down top 3 places where we would like to live, randomly chose one and go there. I definitely love his adventurous side... but then you stop and look around and realize you are already living in a dream place. #Sydney is definitely in my top 3! I remember seeing it on TV, the New Years fireworks with Opera House at the background, and it was pretty much my only knowledge about Sydney. I imagined it is like Singapore or Hong Kong, very busy and full of skyscrapers. It is so far from the reality - despite being one of the biggest cities in Australia, it feels so cosy and I call it “resorty” thanks to the amazing beaches. I film the pose from 2 angles so you know, my practice is not always perfect, sometimes one side opens more than the other. Hur många gånger har du sett ett barn som leker i sanden eller tittar på en myra, som måste lyfta hälarna eller hålla i händerna när de sitter på huk? När slutar vi egentligen att sitta på huk? . Personligen har jag alltid suttit på huk, favoritpositionen att rensa ogräs i, och positionen/rörelsen är bra för fotleder, knän, höfter, ländryggen, tarmarna. . Kommer du inte ner med hälarna så lägg en filt under, hitta tyngden nedåt och försök slappna av i dina käkleder. Bara att börja helt enkelt! . After three weeks of travels, we have decided to spend the whole day at the same place, not to see anything new and just enjoying last few weeks in our van. I spent about half of the day writing and another half reading my new book. You can’t have it all, not really. I can’t remember who It was but I know I heard the following on the Tim Ferris show. A certain guest had a rating system on each area of their life and their wife scored them on them on each every month (I think). He wasn’t expected to get top marks in all categories, it just highlighted which areas he was falling short in so he could then give them more attention in the future. The point was that you can’t excel at everything all the time and that’s ok, as long as you shift your focus later on so that long term you’ve worked on all areas and not completely dropped the spinning plates. Of late I have definitely taken my eye off the business ball, I haven’t been working on any long term goals, instead I have been just getting by and doing the immediate tasks such as teaching classes and delivering PT sessions. All the background things that really matter for the future have been put on the back burner and if I’m honest my weekends have been taken up with going out followed by recovery. Well that is now out of my system and I am ready to bring the long term goals back to the forefront of my focus. I went to a seminar yesterday with @danielpriestley called ‘Key Person of Influence’ and it has been a great kick up the 🍑. I had the plan to write a book in the summer, I did some research and made notes plus a rough plan but as per usual, shelved it for a later date. I like starting things, seeing them through to the scary end not so much. • As I’m always preaching, the time to start is now so I’m here to say I am starting and you can all keep me accountable. A few hours a week will get me closer than nothing at all so I need to crack on, rather than thinking ‘who am I to write a book?’, ‘I don’t know enough, maybe I should just do another course first’. As Daniel Priestley said ‘Appreciate the mountain of value you’re on’. We are too close to ourselves and forget how much we have done and learnt along the way, we’ve lost perspective of value that we have within us. Essay over, maybe I’ll chuck this in the book as my foreword, getting closer to finishing it already 😜😜
