Entregue-se a sua respiração, entregue-se a você mesmo e perceba a imensidão que és, as oscilações da mente, sem julgar, respire e volte para teu centro, observando e indo além, SINTA toda natureza que habita dentro e fora de você. B A L A N C E / I love information, I love researching and developing my knowledge and understanding of the mind and body so I’m able to put this into my practice and teaching. . There is huge amounts of information that are flooded into our brain everyday, especially on social media (apologies for adding more information to your brain) I constantly come across conflicting scientific studies or articles. In the last week I’ve read 3 conflicting articles on intermittent fasting, 4 conflicting studies on the pros and cons of strength training (latest study states strength training can be bad for the ventricles in your heart as it builds a stiff muscle wall) a study stating that aerobic endurance training with less than 70% max heart rate response is the healthiest form of aerobic exercise for long term health (debunking the HIIT theory.) . There’s no wonder why people find exercising/moving their body so daunting. Teachers and trainers can be very dogmatic about their way being the best based on what they’ve learned. I always recommend listening to your mind and body. Sounds too simplistic doesn’t it? THE OTHER DAY, MY THERAPIST TOLD ME MY SPINE WAS "OUT OF ALIGNMENT"! . And I do not know how to respond. In fact, I was more concerned if it's an emergency case or something that he'd claim he can REALIGN back. . Thank god, he managed to realign my spine back. Now, once a month I'd get myself to realigned so in the future, it doesn't DISLOCATE again or GO OUT OF ALIGNMENT. 🙄🙄 . Who's been here before? If you do, please read on. 👇 . Post by @amp_physio. Infographics by @honest_physio! . ✨Even though some patients truly believe they are ‘out’ and require skilled hands to put them ‘back’ together, these thoughts often lead to fragilistic beliefs about ones body leading to other negative health behaviours (i.e avoidance, limited physical activity) and putting one at risk for future episodes of pain. . ✨Some patients in pain may have an altered perception of body sense, but in any case it’s important to validate the perception of something being ‘out’ of alignment and address any negative health beliefs gently and slowly. . ✅ Violate expectations with movement.
