One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, “Do you ever get tired of eating the same things everyday?” No. The answer is no. You have to understand the process to understand why the answer is so easily no. The trials, the errors and constant corrections and adjustments it takes to find what works best for your body. Finding your maintenance or how your body reacts to changes, deficits and surpluses. Over the time it takes to manipulate these factors perfectly, eating for pleasure is no longer desired. Eating for purpose makes you almost machine like. Consuming food according to plans with the focus being on the results eliminates the cravings for bad food. The body works in weeks. #transformationtuesday 🧨🧨🧨🧨 Working out has always been on the top of mind, however over the past few years somehow I let this go and out of 🧠 . There was a time when working long hours on my feet wore me out, leaving me with little time to do anything else, much less the motivation to push hard in the gym. My business needed all the attention and it received all the attention. But one day it clicked, I needed to get my body back under control. I needed to be 💪🏼 for my family, and for myself. Proper nutrition has always been at the top of my list however I was missing the 🔑 part to my body and that was exercise and working out. I needed to show myself that I could get back the body that I had when I was in my 20’s. So doing a competition was within my realm of possibility. Not just doing a show, but I want to WIN the show. Storm Classic GBO So here I am, less than one week out from my first competition, and I am feeling and looking better than I ever have. I set a goal at 39 to be healthier and in better shape when I turn 40. Last month I turned 40, and with that milestone I can say that I am in the best shape of my life. There isn't much difference on the scale in these two photos, maybe around 13-15 pounds, but my body composition has drastically shifted. It hasn't been easy, but the work I have put in I can say that I have earned this body. And I want to thank my coach @erinelliott_ifbbpro and super amazing wife @melodymfarkas for supporting and pushing me through this progress. I am not done yet still more goals to conquer 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 You can change your body, but first you have to change your mindset. Secondly, you have to have the right team around you because there is always negativity. But hell, that negative energy from others is what pushes me because you don’t owe anyone anything only yourself. Be true and the rest will fall into place .
