A lot of you have asked me how I cook & meal prep with TEMPEH. First of all... what the heck is it?! ๐Ÿ‘‰Soybeans that have been fermented, or broken down by microorganisms. The soybeans are then pressed into compact form which is then used as a meat substitute ๐Ÿƒ Not only is Tempeh super high in protein (over 30g per cup) but it is loaded with probiotics, vitamins and minerals ๐Ÿ‘ This is a staple item in our house and in my meal prep. How do I cook/use it? SUPER EASY๐Ÿ‘‡ - - Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray (try to get out of the habit of cooking your proteins, veggies and carbs in oil ๐Ÿšซ) Cut tempeh into slices (like the pic) and bake at 450 for 15-20min, flipping periodically. Season however you'd like before baking ๐Ÿ‘ I use Bragg's liquid aminos, spicy mustard, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and ground ginger. Put the cooked tempeh in a Tupperware, store in fridge and pull out whatever portion size you need for your meals ๐Ÿ˜€ #PlantStrong #StrongerGreen

However, to maintain a challenging and results driven program, it is super important to diversify your exercises, machines, stances, grips, etc. Otherwise, your body will adapt to your routine and habits (this can happen in as little as 6-8 weeks!) Letting your knees extend far over your toes will activate your quads and NOT your glutes! Since most of us are naturally quad dominant (thanks to sitting for hours each day) we HAVE to really focus on using the right muscles when we train ๐Ÿ‘‰ Next time you squat try sitting back and pushing through your heels...
