Had great meals before my leg routine which is crucial if you are trying to go hard on that particular day I will also post my 765 attempt, which was I think a bit ambitious, and risky, but if there is ambition there is risk. So how do I warm up before a heavy lift? I always try to incorporate compound movements to get a full range of motion with manageable weight. Ladies don’t be afraid to lift heavy! Deload week came at just the perfect time while recovering this ankle. Thank God no torn tendons or ligaments. Deads and squats today felt really good👍🏽 Yes, I said “squats”! Some people would say, “You shouldn’t be squatting while your ankle’s injured”, but there is always a way to keep lifting safely during an injury. Definitely don’t overdo it and listen to your body when feeling pain according to my therapist @airrosti 🙌🏾👍🏽 I honestly thought they were going to tell me to stop squatting for a while, but that wasn’t the case. I’m so impressed with this rehab! After just the first session, I was able to walk with almost no pain and I was squatting at 67% of my 1RM one week after my injury. These guys are amazing, and I would highly recommend them for expedited rehabbing and maintenance 💯 . Getting excited and nervous for my meet in 5 weeks!! Goal is to qualify for the 2020 USPA Drug-Tested Nationals and, of course, to set new PRs👊🏽💙 Wishing good luck and all ⚪️⚪️⚪️ to the lifters at the PNW Fall Classic III at @dopstrength this weekend!! I'll be competing with the 93kgs at a goal weight of 200lbs. .
