Our intention is to share the knowledge and techniques we have learned from our teachers and cultivated as experience in our own practice, as an act of service to our wonderful and ever so supportive community that we feel so thankful for being a part of! Getting burnt out, or going through something is apart of our lives. Managing it can become difficult, and almost a burden. I’m not going to sit here and tell you my practice is always with intention. A lot of the time it looks like this 🔝 I suffer from anxiety. I’ve always suffered, from a very early age. Anxiety comes in many forms and has many faces. But even bringing myself to my mat, whether I’m practicing or not; this is my safe space. I took these screen grabs yesterday, when I didn’t even know what I wanted to practice. My body felt heavy, my mind was a race, my emotions were on high and I was trying to hold back. I’m learning it’s all just a feeling. That I can put that feeling aside and choose to not think and dwell on it. It’s hard, and takes practice but if I can conquer my mind, I can over come a lot. Baby steps.
