Wednesday workout... no Reformer no problem! Here’s another spicy core move you can do on a rowing machine if you don’t have access to a reformer! . I’ve previously posted a couple of variations of a pike which really hit the core head on! . Here’s a variation of an alternating oblique crunch (also known as a catfish with a twist on the Reformer!). It not only hits your abs but also gets into your obliques big time so you get to feel that burn through the sides too! What’s not to love... . ⚡️hands down at the end of the machine shoulder width apart ⚡️feet on the seat and big toes together ⚡️find your high plank position ⚡️exhale as you bend your knees in and push the floor away from you ⚡️at the last minute bend both knees into one elbow keeping your hips in line with your shoulders and heels high (I didn’t quite have enough room to get forward so my ass is going a little too high!) ⚡️inhale as you slowly move your knees back the way you came and return to a high plank position ⚡️repeat on the other side ⚡️try it for 90 seconds! Wednesday workout... another no Reformer, no problem! A pike is tough enough as it is, so here’s the primary variation that can be done on a rowing machine if you don’t have access to a reformer! I previously posted this move with the added instability of a bosu ball for an advanced variation, but let’s call this the traditional adaptation, without added complications😝! . So, if it’s your first time trying it or there’s no bosu ball to hand, try this variation! . ⚡️hands down at the end of the machine shoulder width apart ⚡feet on the seat+ big toes together ⚡find your high plank position ⚡exhale as you lift your hips up, rounding your spine and pressing your hands into the floor to create that extra oomph! ⚡keep your heels high - the whole time, or your lower abs switch off... which is not what you want! ⚡inhale as you slowly return to a high plank position ⚡rinse and repeat!! . UPPERBODY 💥 ABS 💥LEG 💥 ⬅️ Scroll to the left 😉!! . . 📌I performed several exercises: 🔺standing with the Flexdiscfit 🌀 under one foot 👣 and yogablock under the other to have a correct position of the pelvis 👍🏻. 🔺Sitting on the yogablock and the Flexdiscfit 🌀 underfoot 👣. In my hands I hold two weights to give more work to the arms 💪🏻😅. Great leg training and #strength in the #core 🔥👍🏻.
