Finding the low abdominals and pulsing the bleep outa them is my favorite way to start my day. Be careful, if you are not focused on the lower abdominals, it is very easy to push the carriage back with the hip flexors. Attention to detail is paramount to engage the lower abdominals. Here is an amazing challenge for balance. Using one yellow spring, my focus was to press the leg back more than raise the leg up. The work was hip flexion on the standing leg more than hip extension on the raising leg. I’ve got a lot of work to do on this one to find more stability. This one is a great low back stretch. With two red springs and the strap on my thigh, it really helped to traction my pelvis away from my rib cage. It gave me a wonderful stretch without compressing my opposite side. Head, neck shoulder organization is paramount.
