My fave glute activation exercises: 🍑 Banded Hip Abductions x20 🍑 Glute Bridges x20 🍑 Crab Walks x10 per leg 🍑 Banded Kickbacks x10 per leg I usually repeat this circuit 3 times at the start of my glute workouts to make sure they’re properly warmed up, even for the most active people your glutes are inactive most of the time and not warming them up can cause injury!! I noticed a serious improvement in glute focused exercises once I learned about glute activation and it’s especially helpful if you’re not glute dominant like me, also if you don’t have a @b_ndstore band you need to get yourself one because they’re amazing!!! When there is a lumbar extension, a.k.a. arching your back, it generally means a lack of core strength as well as shoulder mobility. Well thrusters are a very good full body exercise, How much you are lifting doesn’t mean a damn thing if you are doing it incorrectly and damaging your joints, especially your poor spine! When lifting overhead, if you look down while the weight is overhead, you shouldn’t see your rib cage protruding forward.
