Don’t complain about things you are not willing to change. You don’t get better on the days you feel like going. You get better on the days when you don’t want to go, but you go anyway. If you can overcome the negative energy coming from your tired body or unmotivated mind, you will grow and become better. It won’t be the best workout you have. You won’t accomplish as much as you usually do when you actually feel good, but that doesn’t matter. ❗️SHOULDER PAIN RELIEF❗️- - - - If you have pain in your shoulders while training 1. Cut down your volume 2. See a doctor and get referred to a physio 3. TRY THESE EXERCISES before every upper body day! - - - - The last video is me laying down, you can do this exercise standing up but I’d recommend you use a cable and not a dumbbell. If you use a dumbbell for this exercise in a upright position the stress will go onto the bicep and not the rotator cuff. - - - - Rotator cuff is a group of muscles responsible for keeping the head of the humerus in the socket of the shoulder. A lot of people tend to have complications with shoulders due to its susceptibility to injury due to its 360 degree range of motion. The RC often goes untrained and with a combination of heavy pressing will lead to an injury. So even if you don’t have shoulder issues I’d recommend throwing rotator cuff strengthening exercises into your program! #rehab #athletictherapist #personaltrainer #roadtorecovery IK I SPELT RELIEF WRONG 🤦🏻‍♂️

So I was craving a bit of a sweet treat whilst wanting to keep it fairly healthy (and use the last of the @planetfood protein I had), so I came up with this delicious beauty of a treat. NO BAKE PUFFED RICE PROTEIN TREATS w/CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER 🍫 I decided to store these babies in the freezer and OH WOW, these no-bake crispy chocolate & peanut butter bars are crunchy & chewy perfection that remind you a bit of Rice Krispies treats, and definitely satisfied my sweet cravings. 1/2 cup natural smooth peanut butter 1/2 cup honey 1/4 cup organic maple syrup 4 cups organic brown rice puffs Pinch pink Himalayan salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 35 pieces high-quality semisweet chocolate melts (optional) Serves 18 - 151 Cals per serve (exact calorie correct measurements from @myfitnesspal in last pic) 1. Line a baking pan with baking paper - I used a 32x20cm brownie tin. In a saucepan large enough to hold the puffed rice, over a medium heat, heat the peanut butter, honey, maple syrup, salt and vanilla, stirring until it is well mixed and hot (but not bubbling.) Remove from heat and add the puffed rice; mix until all rice is well coated. 2. Transfer mixture to prepared pan, pressing into an even layer with clean finger or back of a spoon and let cool. Melt chocolate in the microwave and spread evenly (or drizzle!) over the bars. 3. Let cool completely, cut into squares (use a serrated knife) and serve. Makes 18 squares.

Monday lunch inspo via @kaaileyleewis 😍🥗 • • • • • My absolute favourite bowl to eat🥬🍅 Firstly i do a big roast vegetable cook up (I used pumpkin, sweet potato, potato, cauliflower) Then I fry a whole heap of greens (I used broccoli, zucchini & silverbeet) Let both batches cool before adding to salad. Then I prepare the cold salad (I used rocket, spinach, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, red onion) Add all the chilled cooked vegetables Top with homemade garlic hommus, amino acid sauce and @puredelighthemp hemp seeds Mixed all together & enjoy 🧚🏽‍♀️
