We give them this incentive by adding more weight to the bar more reps to our exercises. Start lifting heavy (6-8 rep range) and aim to hit weekly PR's (personal records) while tracking your workouts to ensure that you are progressing. Progress=more growth. - EATING MORE CALORIES If you want to build more muscle you need to have the resources to do. By eating in a calorie surplus of 300 to 500 calories over maintenance as a skinny guy you ensuring that you will be adding mass. Calorie dense foods are your best friends like peanut butter, nuts, fatty foods, and the occasional processed foods. These foods will help you reach your daily calorie target so you can start building more muscle. - DOING LESS CARDIO If you're doing too much cardio you're being counterproductive. Since you are trying to eat in a calorie surplus to build muscle you dont want to be burning extra calories. Cut out the cardio altogether or keep it to a minimum. - EATING MORE PROTEIN As a skinny guy trying to build muscle you need to be getting enough protein. This protein will allow you to recover from your workouts and build back your muscles bigger and stronger than they were before! Happy Monday! 💪💪 Leg day compilation, all but maybe 5 movements are in this video. Tried sissy squats the first time. I'm sure the reason it was too easy to me was because i had some discrepancy in form. Gonna keep working on those behind the scenes before I demonstrate on the feed. The movements shown here were all 4 sets of 10-20 reps starting with: Back Squats Single leg hamstring curls Quad Extensions Barbell Lunges Super basic but all super beneficial. 💪 Got Back in the gym for the second time and for my first leg day after a 8 day break. I didn't kill myself but it was still challenging. It's good to know the difference. Easing my way back in and focusing on form is more important than lifting the most weight possible (even though that is cool too 😎). Working on longevity.
