¿Abductores o aductores? Si me preguntarán con cuál quedarme sin duda elegiría ABDUCTORES, pero debemos hacer ambos para trabajar también los músculos de la cara interna del muslo. El trabajo principal de los abductores es separar las piernas, trabajando sobre todo los músculos del glúteo. Por el contrario el trabajo de los aductores es juntar las piernas. En mi caso para trabajar (aunque no en gran medida) el glúteo mayor en la máquina aductora, lo hago sin apoyarme en el asiento, consiguiendo así un mayor rendimiento🍑 Recordar que es importante realizar un calentamiento antes de empezar a muscular y estirar los músculos trabajados al terminar el entrenamiento! 🚗if "fitness" is the vehicle, Competency is driving, Capacity is riding shotgun, and intensity is riding along in the backseat. 🚗 What does that mean?! 🚗 Competency is how well do you move. Can you get in and out of positions? Can you own them? This implies technique should be your primary focus when trying to improve. In the context of weight lifting, this can mean getting better at different variations of an exercise. (Example: SSB Squat, Zercher Squat, etc.) 🚗 Capacity refers to how much work you can handle.  How long can you maintain these positions and movement patterns? How quickly can you recover from the set you just did? Can you do more work this week, than last? (Example: Last week, you did 3 sets of 12 reps. Maybe this week, you do 3 sets of 15 or 4 sets of 12. Or maybe, you rest 45 secs instead of 60 between your sets. It's all progressive!) 🚗 Intensity is usually what you see a lot of people focusing on, erroneously. Always trying to add weight to the bar, week after the week, often at the expense of the other two (mentioned above). While weight is important, as you need a certain level of resistance (mechanical tension) to get a physiological response, chasing numbers is a sure way to going down the path to sloppy lifts and possible injury. 🚗 If you focus on movement quality, and "time under the bar", by default, the weight is going to go up. You just need to be patient. Check your ego.
