Splash promotes handwashing through small environmental “nudges,” which are subconscious cues to trigger behaviors. Mirrors installed above hand washing stations are one of the most effective judges we’ve tested. Drawn to the mirror by curiosity, kids are then reminded to wash their hands. This repeating behavior will eventually instill a habit of hand washing behavior ✨
Is someone shocked they now have access to clean water, clean hands, and clean toilets at school? 🥳
We’re jumping for joy over safe drinking water too 😉
Are the students at Kotebe Berehan Hiwot Primary School more excited for clean water or the weekend?!🚰✨
Our team in China is hard at work providing routine maintenance to Splash sites. Did you know that in December 2017, Splash celebrated bringing clean water to EVERY orphanage in China!?! 🇨🇳🚰 This was a momentous occasion assuring clean water fills every bottle, sippy cup, and drinking glass for over 80,000 kids a day!
Check out the new vests for our Child Cabinet members (aka hygiene club)! These student ambassadors help engage their school mates through positive peer pressure and school-wide activities to promote good hygiene. Splash’s curriculum emphasizes the importance of healthy practices, including making sure to drink clean water and hand washing with soap. #cleanwater #cleanhands
Reading and math aren’t the only things being taught in the classroom 🚰💦🤚 Careful, the soap is slippery!
