In a world where massification seem to be the norm, when it comes to practicing yoga I think we should go in the opposite direction. To one where the practice is personalised and detailed to every single person. We all have different bodies, with different levels of strength, flexibility, degrees of flexion and twisting. So we all need and should be practicing yoga postures that are more in tune to what our body, heart and soul need. Although this can be hard to do in a group class setting, it is important that yoga teachers have this in mind when planning and sequencing classes, so that every posture can be accommodated to everyone in the class. . . . This was the first time I was able to sit in padmasana after my hip surgery and I could not hold it for long! But it is progress! Happy Monday ✨ Starting the week taking some time for myself before heading to work. It makes all the difference! . Happy Sunday ✨ There are days when all I feel like is to disappear or hide myself from everything and everyone. These are the hard ones, when I know that I need to look deep inside and face what’s there. Without excuses.
