NO PROBLEM • BALANCING OBLIQUE SIDE + INNER THIGH LIFT • TAP TO HEAR 👂🏻 EXERCISE TIPS • This is a great exercise sequence for postpartum mamas that are further along in their post-pregnancy, post-labor healing journey, as a fair amount of movement control is needed to perform this exercise safely. I know it looks quite simple, and not fancy, but it’s a toughy. • • • • When is it safe to do? Well....that answer is different for every woman, for me I’m 11 months postpartum and I feel like I have now have the strength, control, alignment coordination and balance needed to perform this exercise with integrity and safety. • • • • This is not an impressive strength building exercise per se, but it definitely is one that requires control (I know I’ve said that a few times now, really trying to get that across 😜) and strong alignment in movement, and those qualities can only be demonstrated when adequate strength, movement awareness and coordination have been developed properly during the earlier postpartum healing process with other smart and conservative exercise choices. I hope that all makes sense. • • • • Listen to my cues for some movement tips, of course I could only share a few. • • • • And most importantly, I hope you try this sequence and that you allow it to show you where you are strong and where you still need to gain some control and strength.
