💧Why is drinking water so important?💧 When it comes to having a healthy lifestyle, one of the most basic things you can start with is drinking enough water. Everyone is different; body weight, height, training intensity, and the environment you live in. But when I tell people how much water to start drinking when they ask how much is “enough” , I always tell them “half your bodyweight in ounces, or at least a gallon a day”. If you aren’t careful, you’ll get dehydrated and it can cause different symptoms like headaches, nausea, cramps, dry mouth, lack of sweating, lightheadedness or dizziness. Water aids in digestion, creation of saliva, transporting nutrients, and many other important functions. 💧 Do yourself a favor and drink enough water. It can be difficult to drink a surplus of water when you are used to an average of 4-6 cups a day. But I myself drink about a gallon a day and the more I drink, the more I seem to need more water. ‼️‼️WHAT IS HIGH VOLUME TRAINING⁉️⁉️ High volume training in my experience is an extremely efficient way to build strength and lose fat. There are three different ways to up volume in your workout sets: 1. You can lift MORE weight while keeping your set and rep range the same as your last workout. 2. You can lift the SAME weight for more reps per set. 3. Or you can perform more sets per workout. For my personal training as of late, I’ve been training with the first variable. Each week, my weight is going higher and higher up from the percentage of my goal max. Results so far FOR ME: My body fat has gone down, I’m beginning to be more vascular(result of low body fat), and I’m getting stronger and seeing progression in muscle mass. • Hope this helps in some way!!! The average person eating a healthy diet will most likely be ingesting enough protein. But if you have goals to gain muscle or lose fat, you will definitely need more.
