I recently read this....."Honesty isn't always easy or pretty, but it's an important aspect to integrity....another life lesson totally applicable to movement and fitness"...I couldn't agree more with you Kimberly @studiofocuspilates🤗. 🌻We are humans we change with time, when limber and stronger while young might not be later, genetics, injuries also may affect us. We need to be prepared for the inevitable or unpredictable. That's Life period. 🌻Learning to self correct to make range gains and move into the articular end ranges through Kinethetic awareness is a process. A process that I accept to experience so I can continue to express, demonstrate and teach movement in all its forms with strength, suppleness, free of pain or restrictions, grace and dignity. ✅Here a couple of demos/practice - taken/learning from @studiofocuspilates. Still assessing my self with honesty in various positions (movement variability) Giving me a starting point to continue practicing and reach the desire end range😊. 🔸️Quadruple position level II CARs (quite challenging) adding a block on lower back to block pelvic compensation. Feeling hip flexion, abduction, internal rotation, extension, adduction, external rotation, and everything in between PLUS click click click oh boy!!🤣 kidding not yet😜 🔸️Frog stretch with controlled body shifts forward/backward...(thinking side splits?? I am ready to go😁. 🌻SL circle is a classical Pilates mat exercise and one of the best to challenge ur core strength and pelvis stability.
