"Before training, I always make sure I have a great meal that contains a good amount of protein and carbs with a little bit of fat. Fat usually makes me feel heavy so I usually try to avoid that before training. After training I always make sure I get in a protein shake and take at least 10-15 minutes to stretch and mobilize. Food, mobilizing and rest are crucial to a good recovery so I always make sure to prioritize to get to my fullest potential!" #lauraslean #nvrever

Happy Game Day!!! How are you having your #lauraslean? @mobilitymaker made an AWESOME chili recipe that’s perfect for today! . . . #Repost @mobilitymaker Game-Day Spicy Chili Recipe🌶 . . . - 2lbs @lauras_lean ground grass-fed beef & 0.75 lbs hot italian sausage - 2 large organic green peppers diced - 1/2 a large vidalia onion minced (with jalapeño and garlic) - 3 jalapeños (leave seeds in one) minced - 5-7 cloves of garylic minced (1) 28-ounce can organic crushed tomatoes — undrained - (1) 14 1/2-ounce can organic cut tomatoes — undrained - (1) 6-ounce can organic tomato paste - 1 bottle of your favorite beer (Smithwicks is terrific in this but I'm gluten-free now so use @omissionbeer or RedBridge) - 1/2 to 1tsp (depending on taste) cayenne pepper - 1 1/2 TBS cumin - (2) 15 1/2-ounce dark red kidney beans — rinsed and drained . . . In an extra-large skillet, crumble and brown the sausage and beef on medium-high heat. About halfway through, add the diced peppers along with the minced jalapenos, onion and garlic. Once meat is browned, add all of the other ingredients (except kidney beans) in the order listed above, stirring well. Bring to a boil, add kidney beans and stir gently to mix. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring after 30 minutes and then every 20-30 minutes. Serve with shredded cheddar, sour cream or plain greek yogurt and tortilla chips.
