It's been one week since we released Land of Hope and Glory and over 36,000 people have seen the film. We are truly overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback we have received in that time and have been brought to tears on several occasions by the messages we've received from people who have decided to go vegan from watching the film. Thank you for watching, thank you for sharing, thank you for spreading the word. Keep the conversation going about the film, share it with your friends and family, share it with non-vegans and with vegans. The animals need you to make sure their stories don't go unheard.
Thank you all so much for the overwhelming responses and feedback for the film so far! We are so happy to hear that people are already turning their friends and family vegan through sharing it with them. Make sure you keep sharing and spreading the word! #landofhopeandgloryfilm
If piglets in UK pig farms are not growing fast enough or are sick and injured they are seen as unprofitable to the industry so are then killed. This is done in the most cost effective manner, meaning that often the piglets are slammed against walls or concrete floors or are bludgeoned to death with metal poles.
Can you imagine never seeing sunlight? The only time UK chickens ever experience sunlight is during their journey to the slaughterhouse or when they are being unloaded from crates before being forced to the kill floor. #landofhopeandgloryfilm
Due to genetic modification, birds raised for meat suffer terribly, their young bones unable to support them, breaking under the weight and strain of their disfigured bodies, resulting in painful lameness which prevents them from eating, drinking or even standing up. #landofhopeandgloryfilm
