Celebrate every success, but also your failures, because there is always something to learn from it. The butter may have shattered in this batch of croissants but my dreams of flaky croissant for afternoon tea weren’t. 😌 I was hoping to film the recipe for these this weekend but I shattered the butter so badly (swipe to see just how bad) so I gave up on the filming.😛 But what I love about this recipe is that it is rather forgiving. Even if you stuff it up as badly as I did by shattering the butter (multiple times) into many little shards that threatened to tear through the dough at every turn, there is that glimmer of hope that things will still be a-okay in the end. 😆
At some stage in our lives we will all go through heart break.. I have experienced my fair share when it comes to family loses, friendship loses and relationship fails. But one thing I have never lost through those times was MY SPIRIT. My spirit to keep pushing forward, even if I wanted to move forward and the break was on, my spirit kept pushing through. Never let heart break of any form put a pause on your life, as we only have 1 life to live. Live it to your fullest potential and if something stands in your way find away around it ❤️
