First strep to strengthening the rotator cuff‼️ 🔹The rotator cuff muscles play a key role in stabilization, external and internal rotation of the arm. . 🔺The first exercise you can do to strengthen the muscles in it is band external rotations shown in the right. 🔺Attach the band to a fixed point about mid abdominal level. Adjust tension to your preference. Hold the hand with palm facing inward. Retract scapula and stabilize your humerus. Proceed to externally rotate your arm while keeping your elbow and shoulder inline. You do not want your elbow to stray during. Perform 3-4 sets 14-16 reps. These should be done daily till you feel improvement in posture then every two days after. . 🔺Second thing you can do is stretch your pectorals specifically pec minor which is responsible for pulling on your shoulder anteriorly. . ⭕️This can be done by placing your hand against a door jam, either at shoulder level or 30 degree above to hit more of the pec minor. Push inwards with your body while keeping your hand steady, you should feel a tight stretch thats a good sign. Hold for 45 sec 3 sets each arm. Done daily till you see improvement in range of motion of the stretch. 🚩You can also assist the stretch of the pec minor by placing a tennis ball on the crease between your shoulder and chest, and rolling against a wall to release myofacial tension. #rotatorcuff #strengthen #personaltrainer #onlinecoaching #myofascialrelease

Many things I've learned on my journey that if you want to succeed at something, you need this main ingredient: self discipline. It comes in many forms. The discipline to achieve a goal takes effort and preparation. For instance, going after a promotion. You think you get hired and automatically get promoted? Lol, I think not. You need to work hard for x amount of months, even years to be seen and taken seriously nowadays. You can't just have it handed to you. If you didn't have to work for it, it isn't appreciated. Same goes for your fitness and health goals. Want to overcome diabetes, obesity, hypertension, sleep apnea??? Just to name a few... You're going to have to do some serious work on the inside. Keep in mind how you speak to yourself. Do you tell yourself you can't do something before you tried it? You've already failed yourself. Even if you can't, why not try? Fail 7 times, stand up 8. Find the discipline to keep going. Tell yourself you can do it and you're half way there! Tips to find that inner warrior goddess: Do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. Don't wait around expecting things to take care of themselves. Do it with passion, the right way. No half ass here! Make it a priority. Like working out. Do it without even thinking about. Put it as a number one priority. It's a business meeting and you're the boss! Guess what? Bosses don't cancel!! Now get to work. I'm rooting for everyone here!! XO Coach D <3
