✨in keeping with my style I am completely late to the finishing party and completed the @1stphorm 8 week challenge in 13 weeks obviously there could have been more visual results, but that was not what I was going for and honestly I didn’t do all the sets every time, didn’t follow a diet and didn’t always do the cardio because I was chill & followed what was best for me I am most definitely stronger I can see it in my arms and abs as well as feel it I recently learned that handstands are all about shoulders and I am super glad for my developing arms and the continual journey of growth I get the privilege to go on with my body and abilities I understand the importance of tracking your lifts and know my way around the gym much more confidently than I did before and that is my biggest take away from completing this program even though I work out regularly, the weight zone part of the gym was intimidating still, but now I am not afraid to be a beginner and try out new lifts/machines etc. proud of myself, but also ready to be free of a workout regime and start trying even more new things!✨

✨as I pack my third backpack in seven months I thought I would do a #whatsinmybag #nursingschool edition 👩🏽‍⚕️heading into my #acceleratedbsn program in May I was unsure of what to bring and worried about lugging my huge books around, thankfully I don’t have to do that (ask your professor before bringing them with you) but these are some must haves during full days on campus with 3-hour lectures 📒🖊the obvious: notebook, pens, highlighter, white out pen, pencil, eraser & a calculator just in case (at my school we are given calculators for the exams)...I also bring my computer when needed, but I learn much more efficiently if I take notes in class 🗓my planner. I use a regular journal and make to do lists for the week and then will make individual ones for the day. one of the best tips I have gotten is make a priority list of three things you must get done each day and the rest you accomplish is extra 🍿🥜💦snack & water: I use a @berkey_filters and always have trail mix and a protein bar in my bag 🎒a strong, durable backpack. the first one I had was very old and it ripped, the second one I had was very cheap; it ripped, this is my third, also old & we will see how it goes ☕️ a @foursigmatic packet, a K cup and brew your own tea cup (might not actually fit in my bag) because lectures get very, very long & missing something would require a lot more work 🍫🍭to save the day 🎀miscellaneous personal care, @corawomen hand cream, nail file, chapstick, hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes (random toss in from lab, but very handy) 🔌headphones & chargers 🧦socks for back up at clinical 🌈it may seem straight forward, but being prepared is one of the best ways to set yourself up for success! 👩🏽‍⚕️✨💕☀️💉🧬📚🏨💫 #nursingschool #nursingstudent #futurenurse #nrsng #nursingschoollife #nursingschooltips #backtoschool #firstdayofschool #backpack #whattopack #nursing #bsnstudent #bsn #collegelife #lifestyle #rn #rnbsn #newstudent #newnursingstudent #nursingschoolproblems #futurern #setupforsuccess #nursesofinstagram #determinedtosucceed
