Today on @bestyoga a new Home Gymnastics video by @yuval_on_hands 🤗 This time I’ve added some pirouettes to the mix just to bring it up a notch and make things interesting. Again this is fundamental gymnastics which never gets old. I put on my Pegasus wrist supports so that I don’t risk any wrist tweaks while experimenting which resulted in that. Not perfect in my inner coach eye, but presentable 🤘 —

Your skeleton might be vastly different than mine in the way your hips are structured so instead of focusing on how pigeon LOOKS...I wanted to put an emphasis on where you should feel the pose and where you SHOULDNT, because that’s far more important than how it looks. It can look like a pile of bricks for all I care as long as you are feeling it and are not feeling it where you shouldn’t be. The only real area you shouldn’t feel pigeon is in the knee...that means your hips aren’t rotating enough and you will need to adjust your hips/leg position until you only feel it in the glute. A mild discomfort especially in the beginning is common but pain that is sharp or feels really unnatural should ALWAYS be avoided. Thanks for watching my friends ❤️
