Ok! Dolphin Pose . Benefit of Dolphin Pose It opens the shoulders and upper back, lengthens the spine, stretches the hamstrings, builds upper body strength, and stimulates the nervous system . From Downdog, kneel and bring your elbows, forearms, and hands to the floor, shoulder-width apart. Spread your fingers and elongate your forearms away from your elbows, upper arms parallel each other . Gently begin to straighten your legs. Walk your feet closer the elbows but you have to stop when your upperback begin to round, If you’re still have tight hamstring you may bend your knees until your spine straigth and long Forearms pressing down to lift the shoulders away from the elbows. Press down with your feet to engage and lift the fronts of the legs. Take the top thighs toward the backs of the legs to open the hamstring Keep your shoulders lifted so your neck can release and lengthen . #ardhapinchamayurasana #pathtopincha #yogatutorial . Bed sequence for splits- I tend to spend most of my days off staying in my bed till 10 cuddling my cat and doing yoga.🐈 Sooo this morning I came up with a simple splits sequence you can use to wake your body up. 1. Simple hamstring stretch 2. Pigeon pose 3. Quad and hip flexor stretch 4. Splits! 😁 (You can also add in a low lunge/lizard pose - I just forgot to add that 🙊) . Happy stretching friends.🐱 . Today we’ll release our chest, pecs, and fronts of our shoulders, because so many of us are really getting STUCK in bad postures and ending up in lots of PAIN!!! 🔥😫🔥 Your muscles begin to adapt to the positions you mostly stay in, i.e. slouching! so take care of your body and MOVE throughout your day to reverse the negative effects of sitting and slouching. 🙌🏽⚡️ After work, or during your work day if you can, find a few moments to do these two stretches. You’re worth taking 2 minutes of YOUR day to heal pain and improve your posture. 💪🏼 invite your coworkers to do it with you! It’ll be fun :) Overtime, doing this a few minutes each day will drastically change you from someone who experiences a lot of discomfort and fatigue to someone who is proactive, energized, and pain free! 👩🏼💻. .... Stretch 1️⃣: 🔸 Start in downward dog and slowly lower yourself down to the floor. Place elbows under shoulders, forearms parallel to one another. 🔸 Lengthen neck by drawing shoulders do your back. 🔸 Pull belly button to spine, and allow your hips and legs to relax behind you. 🔹 Breathe deeply and completely here for 1-2 minutes. .. Stretch 2️⃣: 🔸 Lye on your stomach with legs together and arms stretched out to a T. 🔸 Begin to roll over into your left hip, and place your right hand in front of your chest to navigate your body. 🔸 Place your right foot behind you and lay your head on the floor. 🔹 Hold here for 30 seconds - 2 minutes. 🔹 Breathe deeply in and out through your nose. 🔹 Repeat other side. .... #Stretch with me online in your office with GET STRETCHY AT WORK. https://www.actionjacquelyn.com .... . Before even getting out of bed (let's be real do I ever even get out of bed? 😂) I love to get some quick stretches in. . I do this before/after work, on my lazy days, and anytime really. It's convenient, comfortable and you get at least 10 minutes of yoga in. . Poses in order: ❃Reclined wide leg straddle ❃Happy baby ❃Reclined cobblers pose ❃Thread the needle (both sides) ❃Frog pose with pillow and without ❃Half pigeon (both sides) ❃Pancake fold ❃Cobblers pose ❃Middle splits & Then cuddle your furry friend. 🐶🐱 Happy stretching 🙃 . @bestyoga post today! by @alexzandrapeters . Handstands.. I FREAKING love them! When I first started practicing getting inverted, it was scary AF. I also broke a lot of picture frames off the walls and a few vanities 😅.
